I've done store bought potatoes before (Russets) and a UK guy, here on UA-cam does them every year(Home Grown Veg). The difference being he can choose his varieties because each of his store bought potatoes have the variety, the farmer who planted it and the area the potato came from. Sadly, most of the potatoes in the U.S. doesn't contain that information. In either rate, I didn't have to buy potatoes for awhile after harvest :)
@@gregzeigler3850 nice! Yes I’ve done them plenty of times not to waist them, but they’re so competitive farm wise here some are treated not to sprout either. But regardless I normally get the first year seed then I will keep making my own with that seed until it no longer produces or the production rate decreases, then I will get new stock!
Nothing like fresh potatoes!

How many did you put per bag and how long did it take planting to harvest?
@@tazplex2005 there were 3-4 per bag and about 90 days roughly 3 months to harvest mabe alittle less
