Trust factor in CSGO actually worked somewhat well. Brand new players would rarely get into games with people with thousands of hours. Now anyone with a $3 bought account and a $5 cheat can be in 20k elo games almost immediately.

Yeah somewhat worked, csgo there was cheaters, a lot. But you could still win because they were somewhat scared of OW, now in cs2 they will just be more and more blatant if match is close. And cheaters are way more doing ”timing” plays, pushing when some has nade in hand or arent watching. Things that would get cheater ow banned.

It doesn't matter where u are on the map if there is a smoke or u want to smoke one side he will kill you on timing . normaly after 5 round like this I get frustrated and my mental falls down and start making stupid mistakes like noob would. I am 15 k elo was 23 k before lose strek ... :)

Counter strike 2 is the perfect example of what's wrong with the world and its human inhabitants at this point in time. 2 out of every 3 people have little to zero morals and huge ego's, and then those that can actually do anything about it are so money hungry they would rather let everyone have no morals cause it lines their pockets. Cheaters are such a pathetic breed. Had one the other day that always knew when to peek and where to be, but nobody called him out for 6 rounds straight, even though he was sus from second round on. Then someone calls him a bad cheater and for a couple rounds he denies it and then he goes "you accuse me of cheating, now you get cheating" like if he was not a cheater before that and as if he did not install those cheats before already. I dont know why such people exist. So weak. So cowardly.

I've always insisted on the fact that Valve NEVER made a properly functioning, useful anticheat for Counter strike in their history!
They had one, it was called "overwatch"
in the old fossil days 1.5-1.6, we had a injector anti-cheat called "sXe", never had cheaters. Also in Source too. Valve is a printer for gabe to chew on money and cancel game projects and prototypes.
@@im-banned and yet even when OW was released, there was an influx of cheaters and alot of false bans like there are in CS2. It was good on the outside, but an anti-cheat that solely relies on your peers is just doomed for failure.

Cheats were already being re developed for cs2 even before the launch of beta
because most of the code is the same as csgos source code

The reason isn't a worse anti-cheat. It's the same it's been. It's just that Valve gave cheaters a reason to cheat on their official servers instead of community hvh servers or those who can afford it FaceIT / ESEA. They have a perfect ranking system made straight for them
Not sure if you missed the memo, but Valve disabled the live Overwatcher feature of the anti-cheat just before CS2 officially released. So yes, the current anti-cheat *is* worse, and one hundred percent not the same as it was in CS:GO.
@@Kaleidio Overwatch has been completely disabled since early/mid 2020. Current anti-cheat is almost untouched compared to the latest CSGO one. VACnet has been disabled around a month ago so nobody gets banned now.
At higher ranks cheating truly is problem. At lower ranks cheating isn't too much of a problem atleast it hasn't been for me. With the cheating problem being so widely discussed hackusations in the lover ranks have become way too prevalent.
Someone has a private profile = probably hacking. Someone own only a few games and has under 1k hours in CS = probably hacking. Someone plays a great round = probably hacking. Some is on their way to drop a 30 bomb = must be hacking.
If you're sub 20k and getting destroyed the chances are the enemy is just playing well and you're playing bad, maybe because you have convinced yourself the enemy is cheating. Atleast I've done that more times than I care to admit just to go back and watch the demo to realize my team and I were just playing horrendously.

@@ironwolfgaming9632 From my own experience at 15-17k elo on eu servers they're probably not. I've come across 5ish cheaters in my 140 premier matches so far which I think is a pretty good record. I check all my games on Leetify and whenever I come across someone sketchy I view the demo.
Of course your experience might differ and it's valid to voice your concerns.

Yesterday my team was getting stomped on Overpass and I had a suspicion one of their guys had walls and was giving info, but couldn’t tell who and/or for sure. Last round I sat in t spawn while my teammates all pushed monster. One of the opposing players sprinted through mid and past playground with his knife out and wide swing me in t spawn despite me not having moved or made a single sound the whole round. Gave himself up. That is typically how you can spot the cheaters, they always end up sprinting through areas they should have no info on with their knife out, and peeking unnatural spots that nobody ever plays. It’s really frustrating how prevalent cheating gets the moment you’re above 10k elo.
Cheaters in 5k elo too.. yesterday one of my teammates droped 40+ kills .
He has the most unusual peek and awareness that only a waller can have .

Honestly, I uninstalled CS last week after not playing it for 3 months. I cant make myself play it because its such miserable experience, especially when I remember that I lost CSGO for this.
Might reinstall once community servers are running properly just for them, because I had lot of hours in sauna community servers in CSGO. Such a sad fate for the game since it was continuously installed in my pc for nearly 11 years straight.
in csgo it was more spread out, in cs2 every game above 20k is straight up hvh so its much more condensed
what people must not forget is that valve *is* to fix the cheating issue, its just that they choose not to as it doesnt hurt their revenue enough and will only care to do something once it genuinely cuts into their profits - despite not being publicly traded, its still a forprofit company after all

from my perspective as a casual and comp player in Aus, the cheating is now getting to 2019 levels of bad at least in casual. I've pretty much given up playing premier and only occasionally play faceit.

I believe CS2 will have slightly more cheaters, as players who cheated on CS Go will continue to cheat. And because is a new game more players will be drawn to the game, so more cheaters. I strongly say about 35% to 50% are cheaters.

back in csgo if you reported to many cheaters it affected your score more then theirs id advise you to take the hit and move on cause reporting rarely works
Almost every match has been like this for me unless I play Faceit, very different experience. If Faceit can keep most cheaters like this away for the longest time, I don't see why Valve couldn't.

I quit after 11 matches in a row of blatant cheaters on both my team and the other one. Lost multiple games 0-13. How can one get a rank if you ONLY play against cheaters, multiple ones. Boosting is so prominent, its rough.
You should cover the cheaters in FaceIt. Those are a LOT harder to get redhanded
The fact that they are still not banned, gives more depth to it.
If you check their friends you can see that there are multiple friends having multipe bans on record, and sus accounts here and there.

To be honest, if you don't want to encounter many cheaters, play normal MM instead of Premier. I don't play Premier because, firstly, nobody chooses Nuke (nuke gang), and secondly, too sweaty. I like my Silver lobbies, full of funny lads (I'm not British, I swear) and it is the place where I can just do movement stuff without worrying about getting traced through the wall.
And there are no cheaters in silver lol

If two third of the player base are cheating then why would valve want to do anything about it. It's almost as if they are saying buy cheats, that's how you are supposed to play the game
It's basically the same. I switched between supreme and global in CSGO and i had a cheater basically every other match just like i have in CS2. It's only in the upper Elo's though, i played from 12k to 19-20k without a single cheater, after 19-20k elo it becomes unplayable.
I was jumping up and down from Supreme-Global for years and was high elo in faceit. It was brutal. The worst experience for me was when I got spinbotters 4 times in a row in matchmaking. Ill never forget that day. Faceit was also dogshit. It was just as easy to cheat and people was wintrading, fixing matches on high elo, lmao. People here had very expensive private cheats which will never get caught, but an experienced player will catch them slipping with analyzing demos. I feel like if cheating wouldn't be possible then Counter-Strike would be easily in my top 3 favourite games of all time and maybe I would have took it more seriously. Maybe even try to make some money from it cus I invested a lot of time to it, but the experience was so bad for me both in MM and faceit that I don't even bothered installing CS2.
I feel like Valve's method of collecting a bunch of cheaters and then ban 20k accounts at once doesn't work now less than ever due to the increased player count. Even if they collect for months and then ban it doesn't have much of an impact. In a Sparkles video a cheat dev talked about how VAC may detect a feature of their cheat software and they just remove it and it's fine again. They should ban maybe within a week at most of detecting a cheat. As somebody who has no clue about programming I can't understand how VAC can't detect if another application that is reading or writing to the memory of the game.

I quit cs2 premier las night after back to back o back cheaters. Thinking of going to faceit but I think I may be done for good. The worst thing I ever did was review demos because it proved how bad the situation was.
I feel that so bad. I checked for about 2 weeks most of my Demos. It is seriously stunning how many cheaters there are , just the amount of blatant and semi closet wallers is ridiclious.
So i started playing casual mode for fun. But in casual you can spectate team mates and opponents after dying .....that was the point where i lost any hope in this game

The only solution which would fix this game is allowing only one account per user with the need for verification. Cheaters should lose all the games and money they invested ever since. At the CS:GO peak in 2014/15 it was pure skill that would have brought you to global elite but since then the game was destroyed by being the cash-cow for valve with the least effort in developing. There are people out there with 20 accounts or more and even when all of them someday might be banned they create another one in seconds or just buy one for low cost. Valve did not listen to any suggestions made by the playerbase and then they deleted CS:GO making it unplayable to hide the decreasing playerbase. The subtick-"feature" is a complete fail.
I get a cheater in about %30 of my games in premier, where they are full on spin bogging. I’m in N.A., and have 16k elo.
Valve should start rewarding people for finding cheaters, maybe with skins or lootboxes.
Find 10 confirmed cheaters and get a random set of gloves, does not really cost valve anything.
Had a game with two brand new accounts rage hacking boosting someone. Its pathetic man haven't touched the game in months.
What really annoys me, is i have an older pc. I played csgo just fine, Played community servers, zm, ze, surf etc. Now i cant play any of that. Old csgo is gone, new csgo doesnt have the maps, modes etc, and my pc cant run the game.
Like... I paid for my csgo, i bought it, and now i have a product that i cant use. Modern gaming of, "not owning things" is absurd and anticonsumer. If they, these corporations want me to subscribe to services and not own them, in forever inflation.... Then communisma nd ubi or gtfo and let me own the things i paid for.

I mean there will always be cheaters but this is ridiculous. 2015 - 2022 I'd say it was once every 20 games someone was very sus and even then after watching the VOD, there weren't anything weird anymore or even if was, you couldn't be sure. Now, I've played around 50 - 70 games in 20k and it's just ridiculous. I see people with zero mechanics getting 40 kills a game, I see people no scoping insane shots, I see jump shots connecting heads, I see very suspicious nades almost every 3rd game. It's just too much. For the last 4 weeks, I haven't played a whole day without very suspicious activity in games. NOT A SINGLE DAY. There's been games without anything weird, sure, but those are almost as common as those with very weird shit.
The only reason I didn't give up on this game is the hope that valve is teaching some AI model how to catch these sad people.
Otherwise it's no fun, it's just nostalgia at this point.

Valve needs to fix this soon. The longer they do nothing the more people are just gonna think screw it and start hacking themselves. When people have no confidence in the integrity of the game they are far more likely to start cheating themselves.

yes. yes it is. it is honestly so much worse. i honestly dont even want to launch it because i expect my game to be ruined. in the last 20 games, i'd say 4 didnt have a cheater, and some had multiple. some take turns. some dial it up as the game drags. some are blatant without even knowing why they're blatant.

Even in 7-8K Elo every third match is cheated. At least for me and for the last week… And I don't mean the “oh, he headshotted me once around the corner!” kind of stuff. I mean the “full on rage spinning and looking at the floor” kind of shit. I'm going to let the game get good again before I open it once more.

I think Valve is trying to get the game in a best state for the major and the rest of the player will continue to suffer until after it. I do not think we will get any new updates to VAC Live or new content until after the major. I expect after that they will start to work on other issues.
Kinda contradict yourself a bit making sure the anti cheat is at its best is the best preparation they can make for the major need I remind you of players banned from paris qualifiers just gone? or historically the pro's banned for cheats?

but that is for the general public, pro players have to go through other Anti cheats to play in major qualifiers. I was watching Flom play in one and he had to install a 3rd party anti cheat to play in it. I don't think Valve's concern is for VAC at the moment, when they are racing to get the game itself into a playable state for the major. @@ManLikePaul1

even if cs2 would have the overwatch function from csgo it wouldn't be a solution just a way for Valve to shove the shit under a carpet and act like they dealt with it.
the only way that something could be done is to have cheaters be held accountable for their actions (make the game available on Prime or something, only by having the ID card or passport registered with it)
I think that phone number verification needs to come back anyways but also ID/passport verification would be a good idea to reduce the amount of cheaters drastically, I don't understand why no one is talking about that option to combat this huge issue?

You only needed to see 2 rounds on the first guy to know he is cheating.
The inconsistency in movement and crosshair placement is the most dead giveaway. No one with that low skill could ever predict so many kills.
The last 3 games I've played had blatant cheaters.. my buddies and I are moving back to face it..

Easiest way to spot a cheater is to check their movement, if they have shit movement its 99.9% chance they cheat :D
Valve will never integrate a good anti-cheat system with any version of CS. The cheating scenario is something that feeds their consumer base. Imagine a situation where you encounter a cheater one game, and eventually think its a one-off bad luck, lets grind another game with the false hope that you wont get into this situation again. Thus this becomes a loop where a significant fraction of player base just sticks to Valve's product. Another scenario where you are certain that you lost a map with the only certain reason that you are less skilled than the opposition, a major fraction of mid-tier consumers would just leave the Valve's CS product just because they cant have fun no more after a certain level. Of course, a minor fraction of 'would-be ' top players would continue grinding but that just goes beyond what Valve considers a break-even consumer quanta.

bro i have 3.8k hours with the wrost trust factor and i swear i get a cheater every game that is cheating his ass off and ill call them out and they turn hacks off and cant get a single kill and ima solo que and its like every other game its a five stack with two hackers and my team dont even have mics. and i have a 2nd account that i store skins on and i played on that and i could say i played 5 games without a hacker so it also as to with trust factor to the point to were i cant even play the game without hackers iv just been playing casual becuase i cant play matchmaking cuz dead ass everygame is a closet hacker that talks shit and calls u bad when u call him out for hacking its crazy cuz these hackers dont want to put time and skill into the game so they just hack and think there good its sad and pittyful iv seen people with like 10k inventories cheating in casual but like i said there hiding it but when u have almost 4k hours u can tell by the way people play and peak and shoot that there hacking like when u see a dude spray an ak and hit every bullet from 30meters away but dude has a 1k m4a4 skins and paradox gloves but when u watch the game back u can see dude has so map knowledge at all and sum how knows how to prefire aim every corner kinda wild people are so cocky they have a awp Desert Hydra with paradox gloves are just running around dropping 30 kills in comp or casual that dont even know the map there playing i play alot of office in cs2 and iv seen so many hackers on my team and the other team shits just sad and there like closet cheating so u cant tell but like i said if u have as many hours as i do u can just tell when people are hacking and if u watch the game back its more than obvious. i just dont understand how people can have fun closet cheating dropping 30 kills a game clearly hacking walling calling out people to there friends in discord just blows my mind i cant play a game iv spent over 8k on cuz every game even in casual is a closet cheater that calls u bad when u call then out and tells u to get good and when u tell your team people are hacking on the other team your team loves to tell you how bad you are and how there now hacking cs2 is fucked and im sad to say i spend so much time and money on it when the devs dont want to ban the hackers cuz its profitable for them valve could of fixed this issue they just dont want to cuz all the hackers will get banned with good inventories and stop playing csgo hackers are makin csgo so much money why would they want it stop imagine how many hackers get banned and buy a new account or are closet cheating and buy nice skins so people think there good valve does not care about there players at all theres no reason were months into cs2 and i still cant get a game without a hacker or when i drop 30 kills in a game of casual i get kicked out and spam reported to the point to were the game puts me in solo casual games or just comp games with 5 stacks cheaters and my team are dog shit with no mics dog shit ass game like i play the game atleast 3 hours a day and like i said i get fucking cheaters every fucking game but i dont want to stop playing csgo cuz i got a fucking 6 thousand $ inventory and im super good at the game but cant win a single fucking game cuz my trust factor is so low its just a bumble fuck of bullshit i cant never get a good no more in matchmaking cuz of my trust factor the only thing im left to do is make a new account but i get reported even more cuz i got 50 hours on a lev 20account dropping 30 kills a game theres just no end to this endless loop shit my trust factor been fucked for like two years i dont think iv ever in 2 years found a game were my team m8s all have mics swear to god unless its a 4 stack

This is why I have uninstalled the game and refuse to play it until they fix it. Only by losing players will they actually do something - 4300 hours and I am on strike.

People don’t even know that it’s just the fact they play cs2 doesn’t lose value. You have to understand there is a real economy market in this game, and if there are no people, it’s hundreds of millions lost for them.

Just started playing CS2 and I got game-banned for absolutely no reason.

Just got into a game last night. 1 cheater on my team and 3 on the enemy team. All blatant. His little buddy was boosted by him to 24k and was trying to talk smack about my rank. It was very confusing and pretty funny. Im convinced that cheaters and anyone who queues with them are just mentally deficient.
I dont have a single match with a banned player since the demos were made available again. At least csstats doesnt show me any... Which is weird, considering I met a lot of cheaters as I play in low TF. :D

What's sad is that these people would be hardstuck 5k elo if not for their cheats. They have no mechanics whatsoever and I'm sure their gamesense is subpar.
It ain't worse, it's the same. I don't play games for some years now but when we used to cheat in Csgo, back in 2012-2015 it was hilarious. There was not a single anticheat that people wouldn't do it, especially ESL versus was a joke. Same now, game is still early. it's gonna improve slowly. People will cheat in major for sure, some will be caught, same stuff. If you want to have fun, play 1.6, this game ain't it for more than a decade.
