Ginger Lime Cordial Recipe For Cocktails & Mocktails

- This ginger lime cordial recipe is a zero waste alternative for preserving your fruit, utilizing all of the zest and juice of the limes. The ginger gives this cordial is nice spicy kick and it works lovely in cocktails and mocktails.
For my mocktail recipe in this I used a couple of teas that paired wonderfully with the ginger lime cordial so be sure to stick around for that part. Teas are such an underrated ingredient for cocktails and mocktails and I hope to keep using more of them.

Thank you, Ann!
Fun fact: You probably used Citrus.aurantiifolia (Mexicana variety as you're from the US) but they are many different sort of limes from sweet to acid. The name himself come from Limu in Persian then laymūn in Arabic and finally lime in French and at the same period (around 1600) we called the lemon "limon", so that's probably why French people call it a "citron vert" nowadays.
How interesting! I learned something today. Thanks!
Yesssssssssss!! I came in 2nd place!!!!
🤣 so close!
This looked delicious Meaghan, really well done. I lead Sustainability as part of my day job. We’re doing an EcoChallenge this month of April. If you want to join in, let me know. It’s fun!
Could you review Lyre’s non alcoholic alternatives
Sure! They have a few options I’ve been meaning to try
Is it necessary to use the citric acid for this recipe or is it purely based on preference?
You don’t have to, but it will add brightness to the cordial.
How many milligrams of water and how many grams of sugar??? Can you say?
1/2 cup of sugar (100g) and 1/4 cup water (59ml water).
