A lot of people were confused about this 🤔

- Now that the cowl is framed up with square tubing, we can fabricate panels to finish it off. This is going to create a whole new visual for inside the engine compartment. I think a lot of people were confused about why we framed the cowl with square tubing but this next step should bring the vision to life 😍

Bello’s Kustoms very nice metal work channel nice place to really learn real old school stuff!
Glad Nate is back
You must of had a few rough days with him😢
I greatly enjoy watching you work Chad, you build by the seat of the pants, improvise and it turns out looking like you built it off a blueprint, just amazing. While cars I've built were simpler, I'm the design then build type. Fun to watch a style of building that's different than mine. Watch almost every night. You've inspired me to start working on my Camaro drag car again. Cheers from Kansas. I grew up in Chicago. Go Blackhawks! Had to get that in.😁
It's nice to see ya do a bit of prep like you have prior to this episode, so things are more prepared so we can see more progress done on the car. cheers. I understand you can't always do that but its nice to see it more often. It shows you've put more thought into the episode thanks appreciate it.
There's an old welding trick that if you have a gap between a piece of sheet of metal due to a previous tack heat up that tact then hit it with a hammer when it red hot right after you've reheated that tact then it will close that gap together and look perfect, works all the time.
Chad you are an inspiration. Reminds me when I had all of that energy running around fixing cars. Thank you for your channels content. ❤
The sheathing on the inside the Hotwheels car looks great, the engine in the Hudson looks great Nate is doing a great job
God Bless Nate , as a Ford man, putin's up with that chev nonsense...
Can't wait to see the results of this Big Block Ford in the Hot Wheels gasser
It´s amazing to see when you turn difficult into easy, every time. Keep going, I learn every time.
Just keep doing what you do Chad. That's what makes the show what it is. Watching from Brisbane.
Bear Claw latches are a great choice. I love watching your builds and get everyone has their way to do things but seems like the clutch, brake, and gas pedals might be a tight or weird fit.
Your making progress on both great vehicles working on a budget. Thank You Chad , Jolene and Nate for the entertaining video.
You all are amazing
Thanks for sharing with us. I like where you're going. Jolene is doing an awesome job.
This will look good 👍Go for it Team Hiltz 👁 🐅 👌
Nat is doing a great job on the engine bay looking really cool, it takes time to make it look pretty even though it don't stay that way when your driving it.
I've tried to make a pretty engine bay with shinny parts painted fire walls inner fenders. Just driving it everyday oil and dust/dirt I tried wiping it down to keep it nice looking but that got old after awhile washing the car tires windows chrome wheels.
When you get up in year's you'll want something cool low maintenance to keep clean looking.
Love it Great job.Your friend.😊
Nice Job and it looks good!
Awesome, Thanks
Great look going on in the engine compartment!
Hey Chad, Jolene, Nate, & Fina! Chad the firewall is coming along nicely and it will look good when it is finished. Nate is doing a good job on the Terraplane engine he is getting closer and closer to finished on that project. Jolene you finally got a promotion and it comes with a director's chair! Now you are camera women, video editor, director, & producer did I miss any titles? Jolene you do a really great job!
AWESOME !! going to look great
Looking good.
Chad, looks great. Thanks for the tips and tricks. Thanks for the video Jolene.
Always enjoy Chad creating on the fly.
I dont
@@XtorLuera-zj7tz Me too.
Split the wishbones and install block hugger headers. Keep in mind supercharged engines usually have hotter exhaust temps.
I really like the way you dealt with the cowl looks good 👍
Good job you are there Nate...
Bring that vision to life, looking forward to it
You, can create anything, but you have to have safety in mind, practical as far as device, you wouldnt do a firewall in stock car, late model, modified, or a gasser like that, but to each his own.
What are you building?
Happy Monday yall
Nice 👍
Great
These 2 cars in the shop have my interest. Enjoying the HOT WHEELS build concept and very much look forwar to seeing Terra Plane on Nova Scotia Roads again.
Hi Everybody watching you from Scotland 🏴 UK 🇬🇧
West Yorkshire 🇬🇧
So why not treat the bare metal that is hidden behind the panels? Bare metal always rusts.
How many car's have you cut up, when I was scrapping car's and cutting them up with a axe, to fit in a 6x4 foot trailer, there is bare metal all through the car's, without rust, painting, then welding dosent work that well, all the best
@@donaldhalls2189I used to work building cars for General Motors so am aware why these cars rust out so early. It is designed obsolescence. No need to follow manufacturers building methods when it can be avoided. There are primers meant for welding. Why else did Chad grind the rust off of new metal?
Maybe the best build yet.
Happy Monday. I have concerns about finding space for the exhaust. I probably would have considered a rack & pinion steering upgrade due to the xtra weight up front but, maybe it isn't necessary. Keep on keeping on. It's going to be awesome when it's done
Thanks Shad
Who’s Shad ? 😳
Looking good Chad Nice work Nate good video Jolene
Rock on chad...you guys are doin great...great channel..and that's it..cya tomorrow guys
Good evening Jolene and chad and Doug and Nath I hope you had a wonderful weekend
When it comes to the firewall, I would actually create a insulated firewall.
I'm afraid it could be an Easy Bake Oven with the headers under the roof. I'd really like to see it rip down the road, but it might be a hot one.
It's not going to a daily drive car when finished it will be in his showroom
@@samsungcrossland2036 Yes, but I'd still get a kick out of seeing it go just one time.
love yall!! keep on keepin on!!
Bad Chad enjoys his work. He has his own methodology. He has an awesome work ethic. Look how much he has accomplished. This cars engine is huge and has to go where he wants it. He is making more room by reworking and slimming down the areas where space was wasted and space is needed. Good work!!!!!
My favorite car your doing I really hope to see it done all the way and in painted blue 💙 just like the hot weels keep going we all want to see it finished your doing a great job
Those engine mounts on the Terraplane are a work of art.
DOUG AND NATE ARE THE ONLY ONES FINISHING ANYTHING
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
NATE GONNA NAIL JOLLYS LOLLYS
When he has finished with your mum, you seem obsessed with other folks partners ffs.
It's for show not safety...
Chads great with a eye of a artist but Jolene is the GOAT of phone cinematography ❤️👍🇦🇺
dont forget your top dead center on the harmonic balancer has changed now you need to get tdc on #1 cylinder compression stroke then put a bolt on pointer on timing cover find o- tdc on pointer and mark o-tdc on harmonic balencer with chesiel for timing light i just did that and it is spot on i had to do this on more then one street rods that had the timing mark center of water pump just a sugestion
Glad Nates back
k
Just a quick question, why not punch holes in the sheet metal and plug weld metal to the cowell frame work?? It would be stronger, and look better.
FINA!!!
have a great day, Chad & Jolene
Looks like it will be quite strong with all the metal work welded up. I was a bit worried at the start of the framing.
please make or buy a work table.
Along with a pair of safety boots
And how long do you think it would take him to build one it DAMN sure wouldn't be square or level and end up with 12 legs on it
Why? it's a waste of time walking back and forth to it and just takes up space. Not everyone is too lazy to get up and down
@@knothead5217 and he will pay for it when he is an old man if he makes it that far in life
Does not need one. He has the floor.
Man
With that 460 boat anchor with blower you should box in those frame rails, unless its just going to roll around and do no burn outs.
Just sayin!
Looks cool though.
Get er did yall
when the inside of the engine compartment is finished there is insolation with a black fiber with aluminum covering for fire walls to keep heat away from passenger compartment
Lol Pretty sure he knows that dude
@@InTentZManIpulSationhe may know about it but will he BUY IT
quality as always thanks as always
You guys are Cooler Than Dang It!
Great work guys. 😎👍
Little tip for Jolene: you could use one of those lights that you put on your head like miners, so you can illuminate the scene when you need it for the video. This way you have your hands free
👌
Don’t use Vice grips and a hammer for sheet or will bruise the metal ? I’ll keep that in mind not sure I’ll use it though reason being is …
Hi all from Trois-Rivieres Quebec
Hey Chad
Thanks for explaining everything in great detail as to what your doing for us novices who haven’t done anything like this at all.
Hats off to you my friend !!!! You don’t get that on MT TV .
Great Job !
Just one thing its gona be asome p.s. will it be nicer in front of a clean paint boot door that was nicely repaint 😉
You need a bench bild it out of the matel you have save time on every thing you do all you yous be by your side not on the floor lol
Why does he need a table bro ???? ,Or is it that you need a table ??????,Chad obviously loves working on the floor ,the floor is Chad's bench
As you were hammering those new panels in I was thinking probably be nice to have some sound deadening material on the back of them, after all you're going to have a big block riding shotgun with you! Looks good!
Chad te sigo por mas de 2 años y no terminas ni um solo trabajo 😢
Hello Chad Nate Jolene Fina and all viewers! Pieces take time and precise finesse fitting, enjoy watching and have a great day!
👍
👍👍
Have you decided how you are going to center and level that monster power plant?
With Bad Chad chrome.....hahahahahah.....not sure
Every time Chad says, "basically" take a shot... Hey why not enjoy just a little more...
He said he is going to put shims under 1 side of air filter scoop to make the engine "appear" to be level and centered.
❤
It's all going well still in the mock-up stage cheers Goofy Australia
Good job, chad looking good.
I have always loved watching Bad Chad and Miss Joline building cars. Know and when they where on TV! Thank you Miss Jolene and bad chad
Hi Chad I've js bought to of ur limited T shirts an a hat keep up the good work
Would look good with zoomie headers poking out about an inch under where the fender and running boards area. Would also sound great like a race car should 😜 39:21
You can run your exhaust extractors forward then loop down and back
I still dont understand why you didn't put motor in the normal spot and then just built adaptor for the air scoop you wanted set that far back it would function fine and you wouldn't have all these added complications and would already be further on this build
And Chad no Time for Cheer !
It is getting there Chad, keep doing it your way 👍👍
Rhino Liner, rolled, brushed or sprayed would protect metal and dampen drumming sounds
Grinding is not "sanding"🤣🤣
Unless you grind with a sander 😂!
It is if he uses a flapper wheel, which he often does.
@Gas_n_Gears That's still sanding! Flapper wheels are made of small pieces of sandpaper !
@@Marlin-56 Isn't that what I said?
Dang, people are contrary.
@@Gas_n_Gears Don't know, is it?
Hey Chad, that original dashboard facia looks pretty cool. Instead of making a bland, generic sheet metal dash, make extension panels and use the original facia modified to use guages of your choice and make something really cool, no?🤔😉
I think Jolene is trying to blind you with that mega spotlight 😂😂
Another great show and tell video! Thank you again for sharing it with us!
Can you flip manifolds an make exhaust come out in front of front tires
I don't know why there is 2.2k likes and only 12,301 views and 154 comments there is some thing wrong with this picture. I guess he doesn't need 10,300 likes or viewers to support him.
Chad you started off great in doing cars. But now you are going down hill.
Go up to the caption then click on the comment look at the very top it tells you. Chad you only have 309k subscribers you are not growing. Vice Grip garage and other car guys they are up over 1.9m subscribers in the last 5 months 309k Chad channel has not change in 5 months
Chad your channel in 2021 the views was 193,676 the show that had Cruella De Vil and you had 2.6 k likes now your your channel is going down hill.
That should tell you something. Hope you read this take it to heart.
Bad Chad has way better content than vice grip garage!
Correct!
Why over concern about those numbers? They know what they are doing?
What are you building?
Metal man in a can
Chad makes over 500,000 on utube wow 😮
Keep in mind of where your front roll cage bars will be bolted into the floor and down the door/A post 1:01:42
Love the chad show!
reminds me of the Beverly Hillbilies Jethro Bodine
You can metal turn the metal you just installed and give it a nice retro look. I think the instrument gauges would look good on the top of the trans tunnel with the dash being so narrow versus hanging them below the dash. The car is coming along nicely and it's good seeing Nate back in action. As always good video and camera work by Jolene as well. Balonga cut exhaust coming up from under the car going upwards or facing down behind the front wheel would look cool if it's manageable and would fit the retro look of that era's hot rods.
Thanks ! This Car Video , Very Nice to Look ! The Great Work !
Hello From Finland !😊
I think they have a potentially great show... but in my opinion, it needs to grow just a bit, I think Nate needs to be more involved, I think Chad needs to shorten his explanations... you would have a better show switching back and forth between Nate and Chad...
Chad over explains, which is why there is so much criticism! It takes too much time, not finalized, which gives time for criticism and / or understanding? Quick overview/execute/use Nate for more content without Chad explaining. Let Nate take the wheel!
In my opinion the channel will work much better! It's to the point that it needs to grow...
You see it in chats, Nate is very popular! I just hope Chad and Jolene are a great addition, not a replacement... I've seen many great shows fail by way of jealous tensions!
You hit the nail on the head, Nate was getting too much admiration for his work, so he had to have his wings clipped.
So tell us earl, how's your channel going.?
@alpeach9480 I don't have a channel, so to your point? But if you're asking me to validate my opinion, how does 34 years in successful businesses (plural) suit you?
You are 100% correct. Less running of the mouth = more work, surely what we all came here to watch
Fire wall looks good
They should call you square stock chad you use so much gad dam stock
