Game Description:
Play a third-person, story-driven game set in alternative Russia of the late XIX century where religious visions clash with harsh reality. INDIKA tells the story of a young nun who sets off on a journey of self-discovery with the most unusual companion by her side, the devil himself.

Russian voice acting much better though. The nun character seemed so real and unique.

Так, как-то надо мысли в кучу собрать после этого…😂
1. Лучшее описание, которое я могу сейчас дать, это сумасшедший микс. Обожаю такое. Это смесь интересного визуала, музыки, “адской гончей» и ещё кучи всего… А это зажигание лампадки, ну прелесть же 🥰
2. На английском теряется аутентичность для меня. Когда она на иностранном молиться начала…😂😂😂
3. Местами было прям очень смешно🔥 Интуитивно смешно, когда ты смеяться начинаешь раньше, чем до конца осознаёшь что именно смешно.
4. Нам показали кусок игры и при этом особо ничего не заспойлерили, т.е. по истории ничего особо не понятно, но попробовать игровую механику можно и заинтересоваться в достаточной степени тоже.
5. Сейчас кажется, что это будет жестко, дико, смешно и интересно. А там посмотрим. Точно буду ее проходить. Там очень много вкусного уже в демо🤭Пойду добавлю в вишлист в Стиме.

Возможно будем делать 2 прохождения, с русской и англ озвучкой. Т.к. они так прекрасно ругаются в середине 😭🤣

мне больше понравилась английская озвучка. точнее, у Индики разные личности на английском и русском. на русском она звучит потерянно, а на английском - более зрелой, внутренне спокойной и вместе с тем vibrant.
Wow!! I found it very interesting, starting with the characters (with very defined attitudes and qualities). The music really surprised me, especially because when the demon appeared I would have expected something dark, but nevertheless the rhythm caused a strange sensation, which was not precisely fear. This variety of sensations was also repeated in several scenes. Finally, the last scene with the dead dog and the message where I compared the dog's attitude with that of a human in extreme situations, seemed captivating to me. Will it be a decision-making game? Can we change our basic ideas in the face of an extreme reality? We can look for many philosophical answers and I think the game will give us its vision. I'm eagerly waiting to really know what it will be about. Regarding the Language, I think Russian will be more faithful to the essence of the game taking into account its creators. Thank you Datura for allowing us to learn about games as interesting, disturbing and original as this one.

Геймплей с "дьявольскими наваждениями" очень крутая идея. Картинка выглядит сыровато да и подтормаживает, но может поправят.

@@DaturaPlaysThe lip syncing doesn’t match the Russian audio (which also sounds like it was recorded in different studios with different equipment) while the lip syncing and energy perfectly matches the English audio which makes me believe the English actors did the performance capture despite Odd Meter being a Russian studio. (This was the same for _A Plague Tale_ where the performance capture was done by the English actors and the writer/director (who is French and wrote a story set in France) only directed the English actors.)
Also even with the audio set to Russian, Indika still prays in English and anytime she dies the Voice in her head (The Devil? God? Half-Life's G-Man? The game designers?) taunts her in English.

Just noticed that she’s basically a nun who speaks with the devil and he is a criminal who (as he claims) speaks with God. Maybe this will have some meaning and importance in the game later. Antithesis or something 😂

i bet it isn't. orthodox christianity is very different from protestantism, it is not invasive in a personal life, and so it is not really fancy to attack it unless they are real fundamentalists.

не правда, не все, зависит от студии, сони например до сих пор делает русскую локализацию несмотря на то что ушли из россии
