The boys are back in town~ tara nanaaaa naaa~ I remember the podcast, in one episode they were talking about making an episode where tha gang tries to do something again, but ended up making the same mistakes. They were really into the idea until one of them remembers they already make it, and it was this episode, I think it was Glenn that said something like "We've already done it all...". Even so, they have found a ton of things to do and explore, I really like episode 3 of this season, excited to see your reactions next week!
@@TheMovieJourney oh I've seen every single episode of it's always sunny in Philadelphia that exists! What's really fun is watching y'all see them for the first time! And y'all know each character so well now, you can almost guess how it's gonna go...... And then there's surprises! 🤣
I don't even personally like the black face/brown face episodes (or at least those parts), but they still have Tropic Thunder up on Hulu don't they (with RDJ's blackface)??
One of the banned episodes finishes a storyline that began in the one before so that kind of sucks because everyone now thinks a big thing was just dropped. I get it, but still. The joke was always that they were the idiots but as a white guy it's not really my place to argue that. Because it doesn't really affect me beyond making me laugh.
I’ll be honest, you guys are the only reaction channel that I actually watch the intro of. I usually hate listening to people talk about what they’re watching, but y’all are actually funny 😂
As a (African American) fan of this show, I really hate that the episodes were pulled from Hulu. I had already seen all of them a bunch of times and was never offended. Worst part is it is rarely black people that complain about the black face it’s always some wannabe woke person.
In this case i don’t know that it was a result of specific complaints. The streaming services self-policed all their shows and pulled episodes. Still total crap.
Its never black people, always bored middle aged white women that complain for groups that they dont belong to. Im just saying, white dudes get a lot of heat but its really our women that are the worst.
A very underrated part of where Martina Martinez makes her return here is Frank's face the whole time she's doing her bit. He has basically already accepted that he's never gonna have a successful scheme as long as he has to depend on the gang to carry it out lol
6:22 I’ve heard switchblades like that are illegal but the corner store has knives of all sizes. Ngl I’d feel comfortable walking around with a machete but I don’t know the legality of it
Seeing as how this is a callback episode, I'm gonna make a comment that is a callback and something you may not know... and that's that Mac and Dee are actually married in real life! And also, Charlie and the waitress are married, which I bet you didn't know either.
Assuming you're talking specifically about switchblades, yeah, they are technically illegal in the U.S. but there are lots of knives that use similar functions but aren't considered switchblades by law, so it gets around it. It's also completely legal to get them shipped to your home, so obtaining one is as easy as buying anything else online. I've never heard of someone being arrested here for owning a switchblade.
Season 8 is a terrific season. Trust me, I gave it an ocular pat down. Maybe that should be Dean's shirt. Glad you guys picked up right away, it was a recycling episode in multiple ways. They do address how Mac got skinny. The real answer is Rob McElhenney is really really rich, and has the money to afford a personal trainer and go on a strict low carb diet for a month.
I love the random scenes of the gang somehow being very in the know in queer culture, as a queer person it's fucking hilarious hearing danny devito talking about twinks, bears, etc
6:25 Specifically out the front styles knives are legal. Now carrying OTF knives around in public is state by state, but usually the blade needs to be under a certain length to be able to legally carry one. You can own pretty much any style of knife in the US, But you might not be able to carry it in public.
This episode is one of my all time favorites! I lived in a town that had its garbage service go on strike for two months in the summer, It was a very sobering (and awful) experience, and actually caused me to try and generate less garbage on a day to day basis later in life.
Mac got a little too excited for a moment and tried to kiss Dennis😂🤣😂🤣
Nobody says "who-er" like Frank.
Ill have to throw Ralphie from the Sopranos into that conversation
Hendo with the fire editing. Got all the main joke punchlines and funny scenes. Good job 👏🔥
Appreciate it 🤙🏼

Hells yeah it TYME!!!😂
Thanks for doing these!!!
I friggin love it ❤️
Glad you like them!

there’s another banned episode in season 14 !
Length of blade and if it’s spring loaded are regulated state to state. Being in NY I couldn’t buy the knife they had
Yeah, he doesn't even like get us man
I don't even personally like the black face/brown face episodes (or at least those parts), but they still have Tropic Thunder up on Hulu don't they (with RDJ's blackface)??
One of the few times that a scheme actually works and they can’t even go through with it to make money off it 😂

Apparently Mac moving in to kiss Dennis was improvised. Charlie's response is brilliant too, "Yeah, he did a little bit"
One of the best self-referential episodes! Return of the Wildcard 😂😂😂
It will be explained in future episodes how Mac got back to slim. Spoiler alert: Dennis had a lot to do w it.
Actually you dont need to work on your Charlie impression. That was actually really close.
I knew it! 😁
Yeah very good 🎉
Two more banned episodes to go. 9x9 and 14x3
50 likes and Dean will dress up like Martina Martinez
It’s too bad they pulled this episode from streaming services, it’s really funny. There’s actually five banned episodes, with one in season 14 too
That scene from 4:00 onwards is one of my favourites in the entire series!
The bloopers of this scene are also amazing! Charlie improvs and catches Glenn off guard lmao
“It’s tyyyyyyyme” is great; everytime. Thank you for the energy off the gate Hendo
My pleasure!!

True. You can tell they are a rung above most reaction channels intelligence-wise. Smart people are the funniest. Shame they're not bigger
@bentowle3478 there's still time 😁

You're 100% correct and I love that the "white saviors" also get roasted on this show later down the line.
You nailed it
never typically comment but i love you guys and been watching since like season 3 or 4 now. keep it up gents, really good stuff!
Much appreciated!
I must have watched this episode a dozen times and only now twigged that the title is a reference to them reusing old jokes & plots 😂🤦🏻
I never noticed how into it Kaitlin and Danny get she had him like she was pulling the wrapping off a ham 😂
3:37 “how often should they work out” lol. My favorite line of the episode
The squeaky charlie voice attempt sounded like Shortround 😂

Charlie saying "He doesn't even get us man" gets me every time
I already watched the entire show including the banned episodes the shows amazing no spoilers though I hate spoilers and spoiling

Funny enough, switchblades are illegal in some states, and are classified as "automatic knives" federally. Not a joke
yes switchblades are illegal in America, but assault rifles aren't. lol

It's a state by state thing just like gun laws. In most states it's totally legal to carry or sell switchblades.

Hendo really has some Charlie work to do lol
well that was a brown face not a black face 😂
It's a good banned episode 😅
not a bad charlie
Plot twist.. the impression was close to Charlie
Thank you! 😁
Well, there is "How Mac got skinny again" Episode.......
Kinda.....
It is more a D Sideplot in an Episode with a completely different theme
Switchblade knoves are legal in America. Butterfly knives are illegal though.

The cringiest episode.
