they should just remove the penetration calculator for every vehicle with historical data. just leave it there for the most modern stuff where they dont have acces to the data
1:30 I read it that way that they didn't change the penetration in game. They only changed the numbers in the stat cards because they used to differ from the actual penetration numbers in battles. At least at angels with AP rounds. But now they all should be the same.
In the Description of the angle Penetration Adjustment they stated that this actually only affected the stat card off shells and that it had actually been working correctly in the game. Also they cancelled their ideas of moving the Jpz 4-5 to 6.0 because it got it's stock APCR removed.
The naval FPE issue appears to be a flaw of the statistics from Gaijin's end; even if more ships die to gunfire, ships in general will get set on fire more often than tanks through their time alive due to the fact that ships trade shots far more frequently, thus making fire extinguishing a more vital action in naval combat, at least for blue water ships. Damage control mechanics are so central to naval in fact that the game would do well to expand upon those mechanics.

When naval starts getting missiles I'll stop playing it completely. Ship to ship missiles have 0 gameplay besides deciding a target and they all could be fired at the beginning of a match (including EC). Shooting them down would also be automated because the missiles fly at or near mach. The only good aspects is that it would look cool but it would be at the expense of any ship without really good AA. A good comparison would be like what helicopter EC is but less effort While naval is the butt of many of my jokes I do play the game mode, it just happens to have many problems and not as many solutions. The last few naval ECs have been the same with the same issues ( notably aircraft having more impact in ending the match then the ships)
There are already multiple British aircraft that carried 'advanced' guided weapons. Buccaneer, Sea Vixen, Harrier GR.1, FG.1, FGR.2, Jaguar could all operate the MARTEL in ARM and/or TV models. The more annoying point is that the primary weapon of cold war British attackers was not the MARTEL but the BL755 anti-tank cluster bomb which still hasn't been added.
@@jetnavigator I've done it with test drives and messed around with it but other than that I've never touched it in a real match bc I'm hanging in the super high ping with bad internet speeds

The Challenger 2E would be a grate addition to the UK tree. As it has a 1,500 hors power engine and commander thermals.

the R-13M1s are not only better, but a lot better. It even makes sense to bring 2xR-13M1 + 4xR-60 now instead of just 6xR-60
