congrats on the regular season and for the champions league! Video suggestion : reacting to volleyball high school players (and crazy plays as well! i feel high school volleyball has a lot of those, like A LOT (Emery Dupes deserves recognition!))
it's not considered a double contact if it happens on a serve. if the ball were to go in the air and touch him again, then it would've been considered a double, but since it all happened in one action, there's no double (this applies to spikes as well)
He is a libero and about blocking (i'm a middle) try jumping when the hitter is almost hitting the ball ( a few seconds after they jump to hit the ball). At least this is how i'm trying to time my block. Hope it helped.

dont give up you will find a nice coach and team that will support you eventually just keep trying and dont give up
