I'm pretty sure Nate naturally enjoys doing video game and anime songs. Otherwise he wouldn't accept doing official openings for anime (like Dragon Ball Super). xD

Probably my favorite song on the new album. The entire album is great, but this song is the one I relate to most.

He said on instagram that there wont be any more live action music videos from the album. And is probably tying it to sonic to keep up with the algorithim

Sonic Frontiers man... I used to have very little faith in this game back then until I played it myself, now here I am going to youtube listening to fan covers and AMVs as if it's the mid 2000's all over again. This game is truly the start of the Sonic Renaissance.

It's funny how, of all things, a song about a sonic game is what finally speaks to me about my relationship with my stepdad. "You lit the match to all that we had but it's my choice to watch it burn" really is the whole damn thing in a line

To me this song is about a relationship between SEGA and Sonic Communnity. "You lit the match, but it's my choice to watch it burn" represetns how SEGA started the "fire", burning Sonic franchise and Community choose to not leave, watching the franchise burn. After SEGA releasing Sonic Forntiers, community finally finds some hope for the future of the franchise.
