Cradle Will Fall - Complete Cradle on any difficulty.
Welcome Back 007 - Complete the GoldenEye story on Agent difficulty.
Best In Class - Unlock Gold PP7 by completing Cradle on Agent in 2:15 or less.
Well this seems easier than chasing him around the map like a giddy schoolgirl!
You can actually shoot under the first building he is in when he is at the bottom of the ramp and force him to come back up again.
Very good method also.
Third is headshots from above him when he is the bottom of the ramp if you go to the FAR right

I got him to throw the grenade and he destroyed the console and killed himself 😂 I was running around the map like where is he at, and I checked the objectives and it said complete

@@nickwpearce it’s on Xbox so that’s how i’ve started playing it. I still have my working N64 my mom used to own as a kid but i never had goldeneye on it

I have no idea how people knew this way back in the day, me and my older brother had to get one of our neighbors to beat it and unlock the cheats because it was hard for us lol, pretty sure we made copies of the save and kept the cartridge for years after
I gave my cartridge to a Chinese whiz kid who got me all the cheats in a couple of hours lol
For me it was also the same concerning invincibility, invisibility and infinite ammo but also some 00-Agents.
After the classmate of my brother had unlocked the cheats and beaten the missions the save game was like a treasure for me.
This also adds to the love I have for this game till this day.
It does work. I have the best luck while strafing backwards to the wall and kinda wiggle strafing along the wall from the position highlighted in this video. It does almost always take me several attempts though
love it when theres 3 guards and you get stuck in a bullet loop
That countdown took quite a while to start, I believe Trevelyan has to physically reach a certain point in the level to make the countdown start, like many other conditioned events in game.
Tried this a few times couldn't get it to work :( is the grenade drop random or guaranteed?
Makes sense. When he reaches the console he activates the reorientation of the antenna manually.
@@mattjcwigsorry im months late, but on game faqs some guy said it has like 3/4 chances of happening each time
Unfortunately it didn't work for me, Trevelyan wouldn't set the grenade off and instead carried on through and down the slope. This happened multiple times, so frustrating
Keep trying! Sometimes he will run away but I guarantee it works!
@Nick Pearce Thanks Mate, I managed to do it in the end, he finally gave up after continuous shooting whilst chasing him lol
@tom rowntree it can be tricky but it does work I got it on SA 1st go and 00 1st go.
Think agent took me 5 attempts.

Stand against the wall facing the pillar and the stairs. Try and get it in the middle and wait there for like 10 seconds. If in that specific spot he almost always will drop the nade and die. I’ve only ever had it fail once on dozens of runs in the level on all difficulties

It's good for unlocking the gold pp7, I always used the building to shoot him in that little gap underneath

I grew up on this game but only got to play it properly again because of game pass , it took me around 3 weeks to complete focusing on just 00 Agent and 12 days of that was stuck on Cradle alone 😂 until luckily 006 grenade'd himself, I wish I knew you could force him to do it 😂 🙈
Pretty sure I did this in a much more convoluted, as Rare intended manner, back in the day. I think. Long time ago.

Back up to the wall and don't move, stand still.
You clip through the wall and 006 sees you and throws a grenade
YOU HAVE TO BE PATIENT!
If it doesn't work try again!
If you can't do this then look at Graslu00 youtube he has some clever ways of killing 006 quickly by shooting him under the flooring and going to the far right of the back platforms for a head shot preventing you from chasing him to the other side.
You can do it the normal way and chase and still get a decent time.

@@nickwpearce I couldn't get this to work, but I tried doing it the way they want you to, and I eventually got it. You need to get lucky with some of the enemy spawns, but it's doable. Definitely not the most difficult 00 Agent mission to complete though.
Never worked had to shoot him in the head never dropped the grenade

Not being able to complete this level on 00 Agent was driving me to premature psychosis.
Now if I can only successfully defend Natalia in the Control level on 00 ~ which is proving to be a frustratingly consistent challenge... 🤔
On control when defending Natalya, go to the floor above her and watch the stairs. The enemies who go after Natalya, will only come from there. The ones who go after Bond will sometimes from the sides. But you don't have to worry that much about them

Make sure you aren’t blowing the tinted glass out of the control room when you blow up the mainframes close by

Try on agent until you get it to work
Basically you are popping / clipping through the wall so he sees 👀 your arm and throws his grenade, but he won't run away as its not line of sight
Wait patiently for his dialog to appear, and the objective to day complete

No it's been fixed I could not get it to work
By remaster you mean the Xbox 360 version or the official xbox gamepass release?

It's just the N64 version emulated poorly with updated controls.
