one thing which you could learn is the usage of "air quotes," they are used ironically like verbal or situational irony and not to emphasize any point. So when you say the perfect man of renaissance with air quotes, it is to mean imperfect man.

You criss crossed University,as Christopher Marlow,Greene and Nashe were Cambridge graduated and other belonged to Oxford Except Kyd.
