▪ La mia parte per il Megamix su Naraku di InuXKagura08. Ho scelto il tema "la morte di Naraku", e subito ho pensato alla canzone Final Destination dei Within Tempation ... Spero vi piaccia ^^

I died a little inside watching this. Naraku was my favorite character in this anime and I loved him very much. He was more tormented than the rest of the characters put together. RIP Naraku, I still love you.

In the Manga, there's even a passage where he tells Byakuya that he has absolutely no plans for what he'll do after his last fight with his enemies, and you got the impression that he didn't plan on winning/somehow sensed that it'd be the end, but just wanted to make them hurt one last time... I'm don't quite recall if that scene made it into the anime...
@KaleidoRaffa Another thing that I found interesting/ironic/brilliant writing is the revelation that he was totally unaware of what his own assets were. He always coveted raw streght, but he was never the type for it, was he?`He always had a more defensive skill set, with barriers and illusions and regeneration and what not. The reason I always thought he was a great villain is because while he's not THAT strong (he always wound "strategically withdrawing", especially in the early episodes)
Naraku is one of the deepest Character in the serie, he is a sad soul that just wanted to be loved by Kikyo, SweetTify i've seen your pictures of Narkik THEY ARE AWESOMEEE! i love your work keep going :)
@KaleidoRaffa he compensates by putting those cunning brains of his into good use. He has that drive to defy fate, and while you'd think he's completely devoid of any empathy, the shocking thing is that he has it. And that's why he knows exactly how to make people's hearts shatter like glass. That's how he can enjoy their suffering, because he grasps the scope and implications of it... the ultimate irony is that he's the tough oponent he is BECAUSE he's an hanyou, not despite it.

@KaleidoRaffa He was practically invincible until he got his hands on the thing he'd been seeking all the time. You know, there was this early episode after one of Kikyo's first few appearances where we see Inuyasha wondering if he'll be stronger on the inside as well once he's turned himself into a demon, and if that will make the pain from Kikyo's betrayal go away... and there comes Kagome, trying to talk Inuyasha out of going anywhere near any artifacts of doom... Naraku never had anyone to
Yes, me too, I used to hate him so much in the past when I watched this show on TV and stuff, but I like him now.
Also it made me sad when we see Naraku's face starting to crack and him feeling scared. Especially when Kagome asked Naraku if his true wish was granted or not and you see him all hesitated and stuff.
Naraku was an awesome charcter! when i saw this, my heart just broke. i loved the song tho. RIP Naraku, u will always be my favorite and sexy anime character of all time :)

I reckon The Final Act really revealed a main part of Naraku's character which explained a lot about him, he's now one of my favorites :')

@KaleidoRaffa Yeah. And a very fascinating one, I think. He is basically a despicable man's lingering sentiment, burning jealousy at every living thing pressed into the shape of one guy, but he absolutely doesn't want to be. And who WOULD, actually? Then there's the unrequited love thing. He sees that there's no point in it, but despite all his tries, he can't help it, and he's hellbent on that "If I can't have it, then nobody else shall" mentality.

@kittycatzapp Well, he IS the villain... It was literary karma cuz look at the chain of events: Naraku gets rid of Kagura --> Sesshomaru is very upset about that since they were sort of starting to develop a thing for each other --> he gets a new technique --> Ultimately, it is passed on to inuyasha --> Sesshy gets his own fearsome power --> Both awesome cool powers are used to pwn Naraku. Karma! So yeah, he absolutely deserved it, I'm not that crazy a fangirl, but his life still sort of sucked
Plus, I also feel kind of bad for Onigumo for never feeling loved, and Kagewaki Hitomi dying without knowing who he actually was.
What is the song? Beautiful video, Naraku's death and the revelation of his true desire was one of the greatest scenes in the anime
I can't help but feel sorry for Naraku. Even though it made me angry how he gave Kagura false freedom after giving back her heart along with a good dose of miasma to kill her. All he wanted was Kikyo's love but the Shikon Jewel made him go insane that he actually killed Kikyo, the one he wanted love from. So sad.
I have to admit..i was sad when he died..i cried when he died..i felt sorry for him..but its like he wanted to die anyway..and all he really wanted was kikyo's love..='{ aww poor guy..he did sorta redeam himself in the end
