Thnx for sharing your side of the story and opinions on doing better group rides that lift the community in a better light. it's also good to bring trash bags during group rides. so wherever you stop everyone helps clean up. When we rode at the Abandoned PA Turnpike this fall. we picked up a few big bags full of trash as we rode and stopped in the Tunnel entrances. . the park police stopped and thanked us for picking up all that trash. so its something we will implement on future rides to be looked at in a better light by the community and law enforcement. and for sure whenever you do large group rides, ride together and slow the pace and have a lead rider. in DC we've done several 300+ riders for The Groundings events the past 5 years and we always contact Capitol Police, secret Service and local police District according to the routes. with an approximate time we will be passing by the main monuments so that secret service or police aren't shocked to see 300 + riders with helmets and backpacks approaching the US Capitol or the White House without notice. We would for sure be questioned or harassed if we didn't give them a heads up. you have to respect the job of these police officers and just have some courtesy so that its not a surprise for them to suddenly see a few dozen or a few hundred riders approaching a government facility or a festival downtown. cops are usually chill with us every time we do group rides in DC. I'm not sure about other groups in DC what they've encountered. but Uncle Richie is 100 about just obeying the law and if you want to race or do stunts find a large Parking lot or area like on a Sunday that you can go and practice wheelies and race your friends. but during a large group ride isn't a time to practice your wheelies or race you friends to the front. it's not only your life but others riding with you. we have lots of kids that ride with us also. from 4 years old to 82 years old. the kids look at how we behave so we have to lead by example.
Good morning. Let's go. We ride to enjoy the ride. For the ones that want to do extra things, be mindful of everyone around. Pedestrians see anyone on a PEV as less then a person enjoying the surrounding area
I stuck my nose in because a child was involved, and I thought that required more class, deference and common courtesy. Surprised the always respectful, generous and chill NYC Zooz Club group rides weren't mentioned here. 😢
Thanks for the feedback, Johnny Prime! Just to clarify, no child was used or involved in Frantic TV's content. Our coverage only reported on publicly available footage shared by the community, and if there were concerns with that original footage, those would be with its creators, not Frantic TV. We aim to cover the e-bike community responsibly and respectfully, and we appreciate your perspective on maintaining class and courtesy. We’re also always open to showcasing more positive community groups like the NYC Zooz Club-thanks for highlighting them!
@@JohnnyPrimeCC If you really care, why having YOU say something about the person who posted the original video? Do you hate Frantic TV that much, you are aways here complaining. LOL .... Maybe take a break from the channel?
Sorry guys, once you leave your home assume you are being recorded. People have phones and businesses have cameras, oh and cars have dash cams. Stay humble and ride safe!
lol I just have say looking at this and the ppl in the vid one both don’t go to none of the stunner rides two richie is the last person that should be speaking on this topic about a ppl speaking from the outside… when is bike being taken and ppl coming and joking on him he wanted to leave the game… now he’s on here doing the same… they not even his type of riders lol… it’s like when people ask me about music. I don’t listen to. I can’t explain it to you because I don’t listen to it so if the stunners are not your type of riders what Alternate Volts is pretty much saying is why even build your channel or help your channel with his content? Free or not. And if so and least come out and show your face on a ride. And get the real.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts! We understand that you feel there’s a difference between being part of the stunt riding scene and reporting on it. At Frantic TV, our mission is to cover news about the e-bike community broadly, which includes sharing various perspectives and events-even if our reporters aren’t actively participating in each group or ride. Just like a news reporter doesn’t need to rob a bank to report on a bank robbery, we’re here to observe and share information with the community as a whole. Our goal isn’t to promote individual riders or to act as a marketing agency, but rather to provide insight and coverage for everyone interested in e-bike culture. Thanks again for engaging with us!
