"I don't know what a chihuahua and a great Pyrenees will look like...probably an alpaca"!
OMG, I spit out my food.
Chad, you crack me up. ❤🙏
🦙 🐶
Great Pyrenees r cool big dogs. And Chihuahua I have and mine is a sweet dog not typical Chihuahua she is a good girl. I don't let her bark. And she loves people especially men. I love Alpacas.🥰
Did they hurt his boy parts???
I would call the portable shelter a paccaport sounds like pack a port and glad to hear Allen wasn’t hurt worse and hopefully it doesn’t happen again hope that owner of the dog offers to pay for all your expenses caused by their dog including gas spent to get him seen love your channels
I raise AKC/CKC registered chihuahuas😂 I'd like to see a chihuahua try to breed Smokey, I don't think it's possible😉😂
Laughed so hard when you said you are embarrassing your mom and I, then camera cuts to him Laing flat in the road. You are too funny. Hope Alan gets better quickly. He wanted to get back in the trailer too if you thought you were going to be that dogs next meal. Love all your family. God Bless.
That was those muscle relaxers kicking in
Chad, you’re better than me because if something “dog or whatever” would of done that to one of my animals it would not be breathing anymore. I love your channel. God bless
I would have been charging straight over to the neighbors with their dog , furious about the situation.
They need to keep their dog on their premises !!!
They should also be paying the veterinary fees !!!
🤬
That's awful what happened..... and preventable !!!
Welp as of 3 weeks ago that dog is not breathing and another one is injured
Scarlet oil and silvadene spray work wonders. I had a filly that ran through a fence and took a chunk out of one of her front legs. My farrier at the time was in his 80s and told me to scrub the wound twice a day with warm soapy water, spray with scarlet oil, and then cover that with silvadene spray. It healed up so well that you had to know where to look to find the scar.
Chad that was hilarious. Smokey spitting out her flea & tick meds all the while you think she swallowed them. What a stinker. LOL
That poor animal. He must be in so much pain. Hope the coyotes or dogs don't come in for the kill smelling all that blood. Good luck Alan
Poor Alan. I can't imagine how terrified he must have been and how much pain he is in now. I hope you can secure those animals so none have to endure that kind of thing again. I would be constantly worried if I were not able to be on site with them.
I agree. Poor Alan what a way to begin a new life on the farm. That dog will come back. He got the taste of blood and Alan has blood all over his backside.
Agreed, poor Alan. 😢
BUSTED when you told Alan he was embarrassing you and his Mom and turned the Camera and showed him laying down.. Not what I was expecting!! Priceless!!
Glad he's ok!!
❤
Poor Alan! So thankful that you were there as no telling what more damage that dog would have done!
Chad, in the “old days”, we didn’t have calculators, adding machines or computers to figure out bookkeeping, accounting and math equations. Or Google! I still look at numbers and remember bookkeeping classes. 😳
Chad it looks like you and Rae are gonna have to invest in a trailer of your own. You don’t want to be without if you have anymore emergencies. So sorry He had to endure that attack. 🙏🏼
Smokey is so chill since her escape. She knows how good she has it.
Alpaca, vicuñas,llamas and guanacos are originally from the mountains of Peru, they do not need any weather protection they are used to those elements. I’m from Peru 🇵🇪 and know very well what I’m talking about. Let the alpacas be people.
It's all about what environment they have been raised in. The alpacas in Peru spend the summers in the mountains and winters down in the valleys. Over 200,000 have died in each of the last 2 years when they were trapped in the mountains in freak early snowstorms. And 30% of the cria born do not live through the first year. Alpacas in the US have adapted to this climate and living conditions.
Poor baby, that pain med really relaxed him.🥰
Yep the meds were kicking in, that was hilarious 🤣 when you said come on you are embarrassing mom and dad and the camera panned over and Allen is laying flat on the ground ! He is such a trooper to take that long walk and ride after such a traumatic experience, 😊👍💕💕💕
Prayers continued for Alan! God please keep an eye on him and protect him from the mean dogs in the area.
Dogs are the number 1 predator for most alpaca and llama
Poor Allen, he’s probably afraid to go back in the fence 🥲 thankful for the friends who loaned you the trailer etc and for the referral to the awesome vet!!!
Poor Alan. But my mama nature in me says I feel sorry for all 3 alpacas being out there by themselves. I am afraid a coyote or something will attack them. Can they stay on your dads farm till you all move out there???
Poor Alan, I hope he's going to be alright. Something needs to be done, so Alan can survive.
You may need to consider having enclosed pens ready for any future critters you get. That way you can protect them from other animals. Also need protective covers for them. Always a chore to begin to build a new homestead....prayers over Alan🙏🙏🙏😔
I agree. I think they jumped the gun on getting animals before their homestead was ready for them. Now they've had several get loose and a couple injured. 😔
Poor baby, I really feel sorry for Allen. Hope he gets well soon.
Poor Alan, :( ..... he is also like still scared and a bit traumatized, but can you imagine the pain....poor boy laying there needing a minute, ...ooooh that pain, poor guy ❤
Allen is so beautiful, he didn't deserve that 😢, he's a little lazy, he might be a little scared, I am glad you check on them all the time.
That segment of you begging and Alan laying down was photographic setup and home run timing GOLD.. .... I laughed out loud . .... Hard !!!!
Keep it up 🙌🙌🙌
How unfortunate with Alan & the neighbor's dog. However a blessing for the good vet to take care of him. Yes, I do trust you will find a good deal on a trailer cause you have gotten yourself a spread of livestock going already. I love Alan's markings. God bless you all.
You will do your fencing probably a few times until you get it the way you want it. Have fun and enjoy the ride!
I'm Sorry but that was hilarious! Allan lying down was so funny. I hope he feels better soon.
That segment with Alan sprawled in the mud and you pleading was comedic windup pitch and home run .....timing at its best.... I laughed you loud ..... ....... An scared my cat . . .. I guess I'm the pet .... Keep it up with your Velcro Giraffes ..... ... 🙌🙌🙌🙌
Sorry ..... I thought I deleted my previous comment when it didn't display .....thought I deleted instead of send . . . to error is human to really screw up takes a dumb butt with a smart phone . .... 😔
@@kentroberts8853 🤪at least now I know that I'm not the only one, lol 😐😂😒
THANK YOU to DR. H for everything you did for Alan and THANK YOU to the friend that let Chad borrow your truck and trailer.
Poor Alan. He has had a rough start to his new home 1.0. 🥰
Poor Alan. What a rough start. But I’m clinging to the quote, a rough rehearsal bodes well for the best show. Alan will have the best life with you snd Rae. Blessings
POOR ALLEN !!!! I felt so sorry for him !!! How much more can he take !! Chad, you are such a good man !!! Now, handle your business, getter done !!!!!!!!
Chad you had me howling 😂😂seeing Little Allen lying on the ground..and you fussing to tell his momma..so cute!! He is just a beautiful sweet boy.. Please protect those babies.Bless you!!❤️💜💚💛💙
I think Alan was scared the dog would come back. So sad.
Poor Allen. So much happened after being brought to a new farm. That's a lot. Glad that vet got him in. Hope he heals quickly.
Oh boy poor Alan he’s certainly going through it at the mo. Hope he heals quickly and enjoys his new playmates. Hope the dog leaves him alone. Great video Thankyou for sharing 💕🙏
Loved seeing Alan on the driveway looking up at you. He needed a rest before making that trek evidently. He had been through a rough ordeal. Praying that he heals well.
Smoky was tricky when she spit out that pill. I’ve seen other dogs do that, too! 😀
Praying for Alan. Poor fella. Rae must be upset too. Hugs to y’all.
Allen is awesome!! He obviously loved that gooseneck trailer!!
Love the chore walk, seeing the animals so excited to see you.
Chad, for clearing the brush and thorns check out Jason at Sow the Land and his weed eater with the saw blade!! May not be OSHA approved, but works like a champ. 👍
Prayers for Alan hope all goes well.
Man laying down he must be feeling it n shots may have him drowsy too. Get Well Soon Alan.
Hopie was just cracking up at Smokey's sneaky little spit the medicine out trick lol. 😂🤣😂 Poor Alan! Hoping he's all healed up really soon
Poor Alan, Thank God for good friends and the help with the trailer and vet. Looking forward to seeing all the changes, and the new additions.
Poor Alan he has had a rough time! Hope he heals quickly! Love ya'll! God Bless!
It was meant for you to find that key! The chances were very slim on 20 acres just to look down and there it was!
Prayers that Alan heals without any issues! No one could blame you if you dropped the dog in his tracks!
My prayers are with youall Chad and I'm praying for ALAN 'S quick recovery
Not to mention in most places a farmer has the right to shoot an animal that is damaging their crops or livestock.
I would have already sent that dog over to the Rainbow 🌈 Bridge. He wouldn't still be walking on this earth if he had of attacked one of my animals bc believe me, from personal experience....he WILL BE BACK!!!!
@@marshafredericksen3163
Obviously you haven't watched any of the previous videos bc this is not the 1st attack by these dogs. Go back & watch how their brown, male alpaca was brutally attacked. He had to be taken to the vets bc the damage was so severe! The dog owners have been contacted about this & they also have killed animals on other farms in the area....like chicken of an elderly man that lives nearby. The owners have the duty to contain their dogs. Chad does not have the responsibility of making his fences better/stronger, although he has done this! The dogs definitely needed to be eliminated bc they are KILLERS and won't stop killing livestock plus the owners absolutely were not responsible enough to train their dogs nor contain them after being told by many of their neighbors what their dogs were doing!
Poor Alan!! That's one sweet boy!🙏🙏🤗🤗. Take care Critters!! God bless!
Poor Alan; hope he is better now. Hopefully, there will be protection in numbers and as the girls aren't as docile, they will attack a stray dog to protect their man!
Poor Alan. I lost it when he was lying there while you told him he was embarrassing you and Rae! You turned that camera and 😂 hope it all works out for him!
I'm so sorry the alpaca got hurt. Thankful you found a vet and a good one! Will be watching for of what's going on there. Love yall
And I am so sorry that has happened hope he heals really quickly but nobody blames you if you did put the dog down love from Kingston Queensland Australia
Wow, I feel so bad for poor Alan,, Yes that dog needs to be taken care of one way or another. When a dog starts attacking for no reason, they usually don’t stop. Very thankful you were able to get a great vet and wonderful friend with a truck and trailer. 🇨🇦
I love your boldness! I like hearing it straight!
There’s supposed to be something you can give her that will keep the heat odor away so you may not find little dogs on the farm. Ask vet
Prayers for Alan's quick recovery....do what you know is right for your family and for the furries in protecting them, A big Thank You to the Vet and those that helped in any way. Trying to picture a Pyrenees/Chihuahua mix, would it be called a Pyrehuahua or a Chirenees?
Or maybe just Piranha??? Most Chihuahuas are Lil nasty ankle biters w crooked teeth lol. ( Don't get upset, I have met a few I actually like and they haven't bit me, yet)
@@lorainewhite727 that's a scarey picture lol. I have seen a German shepherd dachshund mix though and they were comical!!!
Alan sure is having a rough start in his new life. Things can only get better! :)
So sorry to hear this. Hope something can be done. Poor Alan. 🥺
Alan will be happier with the girls. Also the Highlands are getting so big! 🥰
So sad to see Alan hurt but otherwise, really great video! Yes, you are really funny Chad, enjoy the humor alot. But you are also a serious man to be reckoned with and that is a great combo. Thanks for the long ride today. Kudos to the vet, friends, etc.
Wow. I hope Alan is ok. Lol I just laughed when you said can we go yet?? And he is literally laying down on the ground. Like a little child and a temper tantrum. Haha
Praying for Alan’s speedy healing. Love the new girls and looking forward to growth on Home 1.0
Tina, and Nancy would be funny for names...lol
I am so happy Alan is alright...sounds terrible what happened!
Love the ideas for the farm, and seeing it all come together :)
God Bless!
Alan is so cute. When I saw him laying down I laughed so hard. He was going on strike. I’m not sure if that dog would still be breathing. My animals would come first.
Hope Alan recovers well. My nephew had a goat who was attacked by a neighbor dog but he died shortly afterwards. They treated his wounds but think the trauma of the attack was too much for his sensitive nature. Don't know much about Alpacas but it seems as if they have a more hardy nature to overcome traumas. Best wishes!
Well, you are showing more grace than I would. It is the owner’s responsibility to keep their dogs in their property. At the very least, they should pay the vet costs and other expenses you incurred getting Alan care.
Finding the key was definitely a God shot! Poor Alan, I cracked up so hard when he decided to park it on the ground! His name suits him. He looks like an Alan. God bless and lots of love to you Rae and the boys💗
Poor Alan! I’m with you Chad about the dog. Prayers that you get everything worked out on the new farm hitch I know I hard to do when the weather doesn’t cooperate. God bless.
Poor baby Alan so easy going ❤ hope he feels better ♡♡♡♡♡ just great that you were there Chad ☆ Rai is going to have to give him some ❤
Glad you all got that donkey. I sure missed seeing (hearing) your neighbor donkey at the old place.
Our dogs have always LOVED their brevecto!!❤️❤️❤️
Hello Chad, Smokey, goats, highlands., chickens, turkeys & pigs!❤ you all.
I impressed with your self control. Regarding the dog who was hanging in Alan. Not sure what I would have done. He is the sweetest alpaca. Maybe his ladies will help protect him.
Sad to hear about Allen , having a tuff start in time things will get better ( have awesome owners) heal quickly and enjoy your new home
Poor Alan, having a tough couple weeks but I think you’re better than me because I would have probably handled that situation differently. You’re absolutely correct that breed is a working breed ugh I swear people 🙄… I feel bad for Rae because I know she has to be stressed about her baby getting hurt.
That was so funny Smokey totally played you but my LGD won’t take things out of my hands either and it’s so weird. Hope your day got better 😉
I'm so glad to see that Alan is home & has company. God bless. 💗
Aww poor Alan! I wouldn't have thought twice about something attacking my animals. It would be gone in a flash. You have patience Chad and that's a good thing! Praying Alan gets better!
Chad I love seeing the highlands up close. They are so good looking. Thanks for all you do for your animals. I really enjoy watching what a fun loving family you have. ❤️ from Wisconsin.
Awe poor Alan love send to him 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Poor Alan I hope he’s ok.
As to the dog, yes they need a job. I’ve had healers and catahoulas and the healers definitely tend to herd anything in view, and can take down animals twice their size. Mine was very sweet until she wasn’t. Had to be worked daily.
I’m looking forward to learning about alpacas.
Poor Allen 😢 concerned with wounds it will bring in predators. He's weak and sore. Looks like pain meds kicked in good half way down the driveway lol
I'd almost have to rent a trailer to protect Allen and allow him to heal at night for a few days. Can you find an old broken down one cheap?
Awe, poor Allen. Praying he leaks quickly. I LOVE dogs with all my heart… but if one attacks… it’s rare they get a second chance.
Good 🌅 to you and your family.
Those old pens are great , I would love to have them on my property ! You could choose one of the many structures to fix up to make a retreat for yourself !
Poor Alan!! I hope everything works out.
I just found you beautiful people ❤️❤️❤️❤️ I love alpacas They are adorable. I love dogs. I love all animals....You two have beautiful boys. You can both be so proud of yourselves. I don't want to miss any. Thank you both....all ❤️🙋🌹🇺🇸
Poor Alan, he is going through some major stuff. But he is in good hands with you and Rae. I knew they was Canadian Geese and not Grebes....I know that honk sound anywhere...Haha.. I told you weeks ago I was sending you some...Haha. Good luck with the neighbors and pray this doesn't happen again , bad enough keeping actual predators away , but neighbors animals not good..
Hi Chad
Been a subscriber since your very early days and have enjoyed watching and keeping up with your progress both ups and downs but I don’t have time for the many channels you now have. I wasn’t going to say anything but you are working hard at getting subscribers and thought I should let u know many of us havnt got time to jump from channel to channel. I will continue to watch your family on Adler Farms but will unsubscribe to all your extra channels. I thought that I might not be on my own with this view so thought I should let u know. I love following all that the homestead/farm plus your family and if it is so spread out we lose that connection. Not moaning just explaining.
This is a great adventure. Thanks for sharing what you do. 🙂
Awesome self-control my brother, I know plenty of people that would not have handle that dog incident with such calmness. You Definitely showed the use of the fruit of the Spirit of Self-control. God Bless You! 🙏
Great video hope Alan is ok. Looking forward to your adventures. Chris from England. Thanks.
I really like your idea of brush hogging more of the crapola weeds/thornbushes. I think you have fantastic plans for everything. When you get closer to the driveway working, I really like what Dutch did and then adding so much more "river-rock". Will you expand the driveway then too? Wow, sorry about Alan.
That would tick a person off. Take care of your animals, then there's those who don't care. Trust Alan heals up good. Thanks for sharing.
I love how the animals talk to you like you're all connected. .....well I see you are.
Poor Alan! I hope he gets better soon!
I remember teachers saying that all the time and you are correct we have a calculator with us 1000% of the time🤣🤣🤣🤣
Poor Alan. Hope he heals nicely. He really needed a nap! You have to protect your animals and place and do what you have to about the dog.
Too funny! While you were “rubbing her throat”, she spit out the medicine!
I have a chihuahua and I have to do the same thing with his braveto. It's the best thing for fleas and ticks. Chico doesn't even like biscuits but he loves cooked carrots and green beans. God bless your family.
When Alan was laying in the road . It was him saying dude I'm enjoying the buzz from the pain meds. Give me time.
Dogs always know when it is medicine.
Awesome ride and super awesome vet. God bless
