I've lost both my uncle and Grandfather this year and the song Monsters helped me help each of them ,especially my Grandpa, get through hospice care and through to the other side. I didn't have a father as a child, these men raised me. So,thank you James. You have no idea the impact your music can and does have in this world.

14 years..seems like yesterday but also a lifetime ago..it has been a beautiful road in all its ups and downs and your songs have def. been highlights along the way..thanks for sharing your gift with us James.

Simultaneously, all of his amazing compositions and performances, combined with always being balanced with his funny & insightful comments about his life. It’s rare for me to live every track on an album, there’s normally 4 to 5 tracks I enjoy at most and that’s with any album!
I’m blown away by this one James and it’s given me so many different emotions with each track! One of the best albums I’ve heard in years, not just by yourself but by any artist!

The album is amazing. I can't wait to see him live next year! He gets so much unnecessary hate it makes me sad. I love his personality, he's funny and doesn't take himself too seriously but at the same time he puts everything into his music. We need more artists like him.

With 'that's how it feels to be alive' it hits me to the core reminding me of my dad who left when I was 8 after a perfect beginning, and my mum couldn't cope so we went into care. I was aware of him playing happy families hundreds of miles away with his new wife and baby son, and this wonderful song, with the piano octaves belting out too, has helped me to grieve about that. Thank you James & Sofia and your band and crew. Love Beebe

I love this man..."You're beautiful" alone is meant a lot to me. It's one of the main reason that pushed me to picked up and learn to play an acoustic guitar. And today I still never get tired of playing that song...what an iconic song and this artist is.
