In my country the Netherlands, your best bet at getting anything is online retailers. Who give good service overall. Some have Brick&Mortar stores too but are remote and widespread in the country. Unless you luck out living next to one. At the regular toy stores, you will find! Cyclonus Oh yes lots of Cyclonus! Do not buy him full price. And perhaps some waves from 2 lines back deluxes. Especially since the cases can be 2-1-1 etc. Expect the one packed most to be widely available. I got this figure today instead of a "replacement" for my weak factory delivery of Road Rage. They gave me a call and said they couldn't find the Road Rages in stock. So either refund or wait. And I said well you got Red Alert still on stock? And he is the same price at their store. So that is how I got my Kingdom WG Red Alert! I said I'll order my Road Rage next month and told him good luck with finding the stock haha. Must say Red Alert is a good figure, mine is QC fine and really well painted.
When I was hunting for Bluestreak I would visit the 5 Walgreens in my area till I found him. Now I'm doing it again with a Red Alert and the girl at one of the locations said "do we have a new exclusive toy?" I felt lame but she remembered me so she remembers how lame I am, lol
hahaha that's alright bro, i would do the same out here and visit several Toy Kingdom and Toys R Us stores when i'm desperately hunting for stuff on retail, and yes, all the sales staff know me already LOL
Fantastic review Chefatron!!!!!!! This version of Red Alert looks incredible, although in alt mode you can easily paint over the hood in black and have a police car, just like Clampdown. LOL Keep on being amazing.
The only version of these new TF Lamborghini guys that I have (so far) is Deep Cover. This Red Alert is basically just a re-paint but.. O’m okay with that! Simple transformation, good coloring (except for those eye-sore door blocks!), and for some reason, I really like the wheels! Having four of these guys is basically like having four of the same TF’s… but they do look just different enough to make it work. Besides, for between $20-$40, pretty affordable. Not like we’ve been going out a lot over the last year anyway!
Picked this up today, beautiful figure. My only real issue with it (aside from some very minor QC issues with my copy) is that they for some reason designed the shoulder cannon with the handheld peg facing towards the robot head which means if you want an accurate look, you have to swap which end the missile is plugged into which results in it not sitting flush. But that's a minor thing and the rest of the figure more than makes up for it. My particular copy has a real tight roof port in which I've ended up seemingly getting the lightbar stuck in my quest to get it as straight as possible. I don't really mind since I was never going to use the lightbar as part of that makeshift axe weapon, though as both the lightbar and roof are clear plastic, it does make you a little concerned that something might break. Hopefully, they redeco this figure into Clampdown, it would go great with Prowl and Cordon. It also makes me wonder if we'll see versions of Tigertrack and Deep Cover in this mold, which makes me a little apprehensive to buy their Siege figures as while the Siege Sideswipe mold looks amazing, I would prefer a mostly Earth mode cast for that G1 accuracy.
My sige red alert has all the upgrade kits and stickers, hopefully Kingdom red alert gets the same treatment? Then you just keep both and alternate them between both modes. Seige red alert looks awesome fully upgraded, especially with the toyhax stickers and spoiler. Glad there's holes on the back for a spoiler in the Kingdom version
I just had my copy of Earth mode Red Alert arrive today - (same day I notice someone is already making him an after market wing)- I like him - I do think the fit of his two a halves isn't as good as the Siege one and he could do with some red detailing on the side of the doors - but he's a nice complement to have to the other similar cars including Cordon and Sideswipe. So I am happy to have him - and at least he was something I was able to actually easily (and inexpensively) get unlike Runabout. Who is still very illusive to me.
Got mine today... At Megamall, again and there are lots of him... For only P1080 with advantage card... All in red tag today... The price is down to P1200 without advantage card...
Hey bud I really enjoy your reviews but I hate the fact in the East you have earlier access to figs. Don’t get me wrong I already have the Mirage & Grimlock 2 pack I also have on preorder the sideswipe 2 pack I just can’t wait till November for the release so I might cancel and get it out west also If I see a decent price . Keep up the great reviews

Greta review and this looks like a 9/10 figure for me the siege one was great and I did not think they could do better even a earth mode one but here we are and I am waiting to get this figure
Got mine imported from Singapore, I've had him for a few days now and he's super fun, looking forward to getting Sideswipe, also speaking about the card, exclusives don't contain them. Both my T-wrecks and Red Alert lacked a card.
Hey Chefatron, a couple of points I might make: I have both the other Siege Red Alerts, and the decision was kinda muddled for me as to why bother with this one. Probably the main deciding factor is his deco. One of the things that kinda bugged me about the Siege one is his Cybertronian lettering and the overall generally dark color scheme, whereas this one has a brighter deco, as you mentioned, and he has the FD more akin to his original toy, which as you mentioned correctly. I’d also mention that from what I understand, both he and Sideswipe are retools of the original Siege versions, basically the new parts are all to change the design of the car to a more earth-oriented vehicle, as well as to match Sunstreaker’s car design more closely. An aside: I own five, soon to be six versions of that mold. Two different Red Alerts, Sideswipe, Tigertrack, Deep Cover, and eventually Gigawatt. This Red Alert is going to be more out of a particular devotion I have to Red Alert, or I would have just stuck with the overall Siege design to match the others.
i totally get your point man... it's all good, it really boils down to a matter of preference... i know several collectors who are quite happy with the siege lambos and do not want to bother hunting down the earth mode lambos
@@chefatron A month on, and having gotten a copy of both Kingdom Red Alert and Gigawatt, I’m going to add that I’m very pleased with both. Red makes me happy because he calls back to back in the day better than the Siege version. I like the color, the deco is great, and the fact he has both his rifle and the launcher is great. Gigawatt is just as good. The only complaint I’ll register is his Mr. Fusion sucks at staying on.

@@chefatron I paid around $40 for Gigawatt (US). That’s total, shipped from Hasbro Pulse. He’s a little more than I’m typically willing to shell out for at that, $52 is definitely a little steep. I’ve been a collector forever, and I had a few special circumstances that justified spending the extra I did (my general budget is $30) and a chunk of that was shipping. Is he worth the ask of US $29.99? Easily. I worked it out like this: basic Lambor is a Deluxe, $19.99, and Gigawatt is a retool. You get the extra details and paint deco, plus the folding wheels and more transformation, that’s easily $10 worth right there. For me, it was also the extra $10 to ship, but I was guaranteed to get him… eventually, so I was okay with that. You’re right, though, $50 is probably only going to be in the realm if you’re absolutely DYING to grab him. Overall, regardless, as a BTTF fan and a Transformer fan, I’m happy with him. Side note, if you do get him, I noticed one of the quirks of Gigawatt being a retool is he has the same shoulder struts as the Lambors, complete with the slots, so he can mount their launchers… :) Also, if it helps, Gigawatt is one of the very few dudes I have ever decided to keep the packaging to because it’s impressive on its own.

chefatron now its voyager kindom wfc tigatron beauty and 4 pack buzzworthy bumbleblee customize tthe spider to tarantula headskullpt almost like him. Generations red alert better than him imo if you got him in the past.
The paint looks better on the Siege version, and your initial reaction is right. The Kingdom version looks cheaper, and the Siege one does look more like it’s from a firefighter. That being said, it is subjective, but I will stick with the Siege version.
Great take on Kingdom Red Alert buddy. Odd that he didnt have the trading card. Anyway the anime colours look appealing and I am sure some collectors will be pleased.

He's a remould - of the siege - version - just a less extensive remould that say Gigawatt is.
