You really lucked out with a one bedroom in SoHo. I have lived around Manhattan: UES, TriBeCa, Greenwich Village, West Village... and I finally bought a co-op in NoHo. I LOVED living in the far West Village (Washington Street), but I have to admit that it was a little bit inconvenient for day-to-day life. I like living in NoHo much better; I feel like I am in the middle of everything, yet, it is still relatively low in scale and quiet at night. I spend half the year (winter!) in Florida now, but NoHo is my forever summer home.
I think so too! Got scared when it was time to make the commitment but I'm rally glad I did. I'm totally in love with my apartment and the neighborhood! I feel the same way as you, being on the west end side of Soho, I feel close to everything without all the foot trafic and madness of Soho

Le quartier est agréable et abordable. 😊
