Excellent match, only 12 minutes from bell to bell but they told the story they wanted perfectly..Two wrestlers having a wrestling match in a wrestling ring, it sounds obvious but these days it's almond revolutionary. They exchanged several types of locks, pinning combinations, arm drags, hip tosses, a couple of suplexes...all inside the ring. There was only one dive and it had a purpose like everything they did in those 12 minutes. Not a single second wasted, no showboating, no taunting, no bad comedy, no suicide dives, no ringside shenanigans...just wrestling. I absolutely loved this match. We rarely see this on Raw, Smackdown, NXT, Dynamite, Impact or ROH but in my opinion this should be the rule and what we see on TV the exception.
Maybe Booker isn't THE reason, because I don't know the details, but it's hard for me to not think that Booker and his wife aren't at least the major pieces behind why we have so many more Black women in wrestling. Not only here but their roles aren't reliant on being in a relationship with a male counterpart. I like these upcoming stars. Things weren't this way even after he originally left WWE. But once he came back, him and/or whoever is behind all of it have changed the dynamic.
Facts! It's so true. All the black female wrestlers I see coming up now in the business have been trained by Booker T. Of course they're major pieces to it. Ivory Robyn, Athena/Ember Moon, AQA, Promise Braxton, even Rache Chanel.
Both are very strong until the match ends we can't expect who is the winner but last promise has won the match for Q better next match god bless you amen.
