The Shaolin's new execution is actually based on a form of martial arts known as Wing Chun, a famous southern style of self defence made famous by Bruce Lee's mentor Ip Man. 3. Vikings would actually laugh as they killed their enemies because they believed that sending someone to the grave without letting them hear the sound of merriment would torment them as they entered Valhalla and come back to haunt them later on in life. 4. The reason why Kensei doesn't get as many flashy executions as some of the other characters is because Odachi's were rare to come by and the stance someone would take up whilst wielding one didn't really offer much in the way of mobility...that and even Ubisoft have said that it's hard to come up with ideas for flash executions for a two handed katana.
