This is gorgeous, gives me harry potter vibes. I initially thought you did full paintings and then cut out the shapes but this is so cool!! To not destroy your brush when using masking fluid...dip it in a little dish soap first - non diluted. Makes it really easy to clean after. Also it doesn't change the consistency of the masking fluid, so no worries there.

Hi Elizabeth. New subscriber here, I just found your channel last night. First, I love your art. Second, I love your method of combining art within a bullet journal. I have tried a method of bullet journaling for a few months now, and I don't really like a plain, business-only layout. But I also wasn't sure what to do about it. I love washi but not just sticking it on pages for the heck of it and not really a fan of a lot of the stickers now available. I had researched some journaling methods via UA-cam and found one person who got me started with how to plan out my sections and thinking about what I need to keep track of, but hadn't found anything else that sparked my interest. Your video came up as I was searching some watercolor videos. That led to me checking out your channel and I had a eureka moment- this seems to be exactly what I was looking for. I like a travelers notebook because I want something easy to throw in my purse. I had not found any digital or physical calendar layouts I liked so I started drawing my own in...I gave up trying to create my own digital calendar lol. I made a layout I'm mostly happy with-still tweaking it, but I hate how plain it is. I wasn't sure though how to pretty it up. Your method is what I think I've been missing- I was binge watching a few of your videos last night. Massive thanks for sharing your methods and your art! 👍🏻🌸
For masking fluid use, I recommend putting a bit of soap on your brush (like swiping it slightly over a soap bar). This way you can easily clean the masking fluid off the brush and keep using your brush.

Cood call with the watercolor paper. If you use masking fluid on non-coated paper, it will either not come off at all, leave the page very frayes in parts or holey.
I have a question, I'm starting my bullet journal for the current school year and I started a month ago and I've been having a fun time with the system but there's always one thing that has been on my mind, I've been bullet journaling with a lined notebook and I know that most bullet journalers say you could use any notebook but I found that it's been really hard recreating spreads with a basic composition notebook. Most things bleed through it and I can't use most markers that I own. I was wondering if anyone knew how to stay on track with your bullet jounal without having to use the dotted system.
It seems like your problem is more about paper thickness and not about whether it’s dotted/lined. You’ll have to get a notebook with higher GSM paper if you want less bleeding and ghosting! There are lots of options at different price points these days. I’d recommend aiming for at least 120 gsm ❤️
oh this is my favourite setup ever, the colours are divine! I wish I had the patience to paint in my notebook. If you ever decided to sell prints or stickers I'd probably buy everything, you're so talented!
Your nails draw me to your videos every time and your talent makes me stay. don’t listen to anyone who says your nails are a distraction - I have nails like yours, and I wear whatever colors I like and trust me, I know the struggle😂

So I wanted to share how I’m. Making it my own. I love Harry Potter. So I’m painting the dear bronze copper to gold gradient then the S with green and trees and a gold deer in the middle. I’m gonna do two quote pages. The one like yours and my own with an inspiring Harry Potter quote will post on insta when I’m done

I read that tip but also that the brush is likely to still be ruined, so I just went for it lol I’m going to get a silicone brush for next time!
