Paathshala is the third production of Moon Water Pictures. Moon Water Pictures is an established production house of Telugu film industry, with two successful productions - Village Lo Vinayakudu and Kudirithe Kappu Coffee.
Story : The story of the film is quite simple. It is based on the lives of 5 best friends, whose role is played by Nandu, Sashank, Sai Kiran, Sirisha and Anu Priya. The friends group consists of three boys and two girls, who are at the crossroads of their life, set out on an epic journey to each others hometown on the last day of graduation before bidding a final goodbye. So, they hire a swanky van, and start their fun filled journey to these villages.
Its a journey of friendship, fun, adventure and a self discovery. The journey which is supposed to give up an insight into outside world, surprisingly lets them introspect. The experience turns out to be a life-changing one. What happens during their visit, and how the harsh realities change their lives upside down

Nice movie............i fucked up 4 years of my life at IIT bombay trying to be a topper and get a good job............got a great job at samsung at usa but unfortunately with in 3 years i was diagnosed with chronic stress and made me partially unfit ..............its been 2 years since i am back in india and trying to make a meaning out of life.......when i watched this movie i realized how much i spoiled those 4 years.............live your college life and get a decent job rather than a job which fucks you up........
You have a very good message.. we are living in a fucked up corporate world.. hard work never pays.. its all about smart work.. living here in usa, I have noticed many good graduates who come through Indian IT firms like Infosys, Satyam, Wipro, Cognizent.. and work night and day but get salary as peanuts.. no one fucking cares about your marksheet once you are placed in a job.. and I feel good students are easy targets for the IT firms to be their scapegoats..
Northwest521 you are right ........i have a degree in Electrical engineering from IIT bombay one of the top universities in india..i was offered a package of 170,000$ and i used to work like a dog day in and day out..........i got promoted very soon but heavy work lead to chronic stress which made me loose control on myself and spoiled my dear relations....i resigned and i am sitting at home for past 2 years and now i work as a tutor ......i have peace of mind........but now i am 28 and when i look back i realized that i never did anything for myself........always trying to fulfill my parents dream of getting into iit and job.......i learned that limited money and lot of free time will help you live a happy life rather than a great job with huge package where you have no time..........
Helly Luffy , some fantastic words of wisdom. The grass is really green on the other side. Lots of people who enjoyed the college life now feel bad that they enjoyed and wasted time and they feel if they hard worked hard like you they will be better off. The sad part is everyone who is a topper or last bencher arent happy about the past as we can easily go back and blame the past. Lets not use the past as an excuse. A decent job has its own perils along with it like how your high profile job has. When you are so smart and can work for the top companies , Why cant you put your heart and start something for yourself and create some employment opportunities for others and provide a great standard which you will like to have.
I was really touched by the way you explained yourself on how much you missed your college life. I was the one who enjoyed college life and went to US and studied at Georgia tech and worked for few years and came back to India and started a startup . I am sure you will find a lot more meaning when you do something for yourself.
You need to realise that there are millions of guys who want to be in your shoes.Looking forward to interact with you as I was able to connect with you. Wish everyone realizes what you have realized as that will help them to become more clear in life

manutdbeck81 hi its nice to see people starting their own business......the best thing i did when i was in us was not to invest a single rupee back in india........i saved lot of money for my parents old age and now i am free from all the burden........i always wanted to be a manga artist........i am very good at sketching and i have decided to pursue my interest....i have applied at kyoto seika university japan and i am waiting for the approval..........i once had funding from an investor to start my own gadget company after my b.tech but my father forced me to take up a job.......during the 3 years i lost everything........my girlfriend broke up ...........everything went wrong ....Today my parents have realized that they have put unnecessary burden on me to excel.....today i teach 12th standard iit math and physics for a limited 30 students and i make a decent money from it.......but the truth is once you loose your relations .no matter how much money you have it's useless

One of THE BEST MOVIES i have watched so far after Boys and Happy Days!! Great story,Screenplay, Direction and the Characters are awesome. All these five guys have great future, want to see more from them.

loved a movie after quiet a long time. concept was too good and never in the whole 2hrs let down or dragged it on, pleasant and felt happy from the deepest part of my heart. dont actually know who made this film but req whole crew to make such decent and meaningful films....

I really love the movie. So inspiring. I'm an engg student too. And had break rules. Fail in the exams. Even in the subjects. A dozen of failed subjects I had. Yet, it molds me and I learned from that failures.
I do have lits of fun during palaro or sports day. Solo super active I sports. And above all friendships. I dont have so lots of friends but when I do have, I do treasure it very much. Appreciate and cultivate. As stated in the movie, "a word friendship hasn't found in the dictionary even. Cause it's an emotion. Friendship is the best emotion ever."

I'm an engg student. Practically speaking, the pain of leaving of college is nothing when compared to the excitement of entering a new and challenging world. Stories like this rarely happen in "real" world and no one definitely want B.Tech to be extended for 2 more years.!! :p
