As far as it's going, Matt's improving greatly. He sings Wishing Well better than he used to, and plays the guitar on it great. Only issue I see here is that he's a bit rusty on M&M's, which is fine, it's a difficult song. All I really want though is for Alkaline Trio to be back!
Well.. I kinda know how Matt feelt being in a band that has so much legacy, and to look all the fans and see how dissapointed they were. 6/8 was the best song to describe how everyone of them felt when their fans turn the back on them.
Alkaline Enema I see you're a fellow AK3 fan... It's a treat to run into another one since it seems a lot of people thought Matt came out of thin air and joined blink lol.
No doubt Matt is a great guitarist and singer/ songwriter, but him and tom have very different influences and play styles. It's like eating an apple pie and complaining it doesn't taste like a blueberry pie
The 1994 m+ms sounds much better much ,more go for it, more feeling, the rythm was insane in that time! The energy that guys put in to the crownd was absolutely incredible! No ofence i love this guys and i have lot of respect for them!

Well Mark’s voice has got shallower when he sings m&m’s but that’s not a bad thing and Matt’s guitar playing here is really good can’t really fault him here as much as I’m not really fan of him

Yaceen Zaaf mmh nope, you are wrong and what you said has nothing to do with the comment above, Dan has a far more technical and tight style of bass playin and nos voice is a tad weaker than Marks , not to mention his songwriting , at least what ive heard of him is a lot more emo and mellow than Marks , Alina is better than Tom at some things , i didnt said he was better overall , he just plays wishing well better and is a 1000 Times better singer...
In my oppinion, those songs are far to vocally dificult for Tom, if he had trouble singing songs like Stay or Dumpweed, then he has no chance of pulling off songs like Cynical or Left alone, probably Sober would be ok for him, but for the rest of them, he is fucked, hed probably had to drop all of them half a step or a whole step....
Good point. I just feel like Tom's guitar playing in Blink is more technical and thought out than Matt's guitar playing in Alkaline Trio, but Matt's vocal harmony is amazing in Trio. But I'm a huge fan of Trio at the same time.
Plus44 wasnt so good, but the new blink album is a masterpiece. to me, matt bring us a new energy for blink songs, im not talking about the energy in live performances, cause those guys are getting older. its a normal situation in life. jagger, a monster, doesnt have that energy like 1969. people, i like another band called helloween, they vhanged 3 times their vocal leader, and that was amazing, now i have many songs to listen with great compostions in the last 20 yeqrs, life and shows must go on

Tom played the same riffs for years, Skiba just needs some time to practice and get them down. Tom was pretty bad at guitar at the start.
