How do you get gate into it? Did you use a daw or what is this program

I just added a gate to the audio coming from the synth ua-cam.com/video/c1E1pWfwOR4/v-deo.htmlsi=r3mgYZ-XbXKf2JCW&t=533 here is where I add the gate.
