  • www.truthforlife.org || By: Alistair Begg - (Ephesians 6:5-9) The Gospel breaks down barriers that separate individuals in the world. When Paul instructed redeemed masters, for example, he reminded them that as brothers and sisters in Christ, masters and bondservants stood equal before God. Alistair Begg teaches that the same holds true for Christian employers and employees today. Regardless of job status, they ultimately serve and answer to an impartial God. Rather than bully those under their supervision, Christian employers should extend grace to their employees without qualification, transforming threats into encouragement.

Alastair you referenced christopher ash on psalm 37. Could you let us know where to find it?

Christopher Ash is an author. You will find him if you Google it.
(Btw, it's not christopher ash. Proper nouns should be spelled with capital letters.)

While I appreciate what Alistair is saying regarding employees and employers, the instructions in scripture are referring to a person who is *owned* by another, and one who *owns* other people. Slaves had no rights socially or legally, so it doesn't *compare* to a boss and employee.
The instructions can be applied across the board, though.
