I have the sc200+ and sc300i. I have the sc4 ordered. I agree with a previous comment that the shadow is causing the poor readings. When I go to the range at night and balls are in and out of lights it’s much less accurate. Great video though.
I have an SC4 so hopefully this helps. The spin is still not correct after multiple firmware updates so hopefully they'll get that fixed. Regardless you need to make certain the unit is exactly 5' behind the ball and absolutely level with the hitting surface. Other than that you also need to be certain to adjust the loft to the exact loft of the club. If you don't do all of those things the numbers will be off.
I’m considering purchasing the MLM2Pro and I have a specific question that I haven’t been able to find an answer to yet. I’m wondering if the MLM2Pro is capable of accurately capturing shots with foam golf balls or similar. Since there’s a lot of content out there for other simulators but not specifically for the MLM2Pro, I think it could be a great idea for a UA-cam video. Testing the MLM2Pro with foam balls could provide valuable information for those of us looking to practice indoors without the risk of breaking anything. Would you be willing to test this out and share your findings? It seems like it could be a unique and helpful piece of content for your viewers.
When you use that ball it's definitely more accurate!!! Wanted to test this in a way that anyone might be using it at a driving range with normal golf balls.
Just a random one off Amazon. Here's the title for it "GoSports Golf Hitting Mat Artificial Turf Mat for Indoor/Outdoor Practice Includes 3 Rubber Tees - Standard, PRO, or Elite

That was much more enjoyable than an average UA-cam test video
Appreciate it Sterling :) Trying to make it interesting.
Great vid mate! With he SC4 you would need to have the level at least the same height as the mat for accurate numbers but great test either way
Appreciate the feedback!! Def could have caused some of the differences
which ball did you use for the experiment? Do you know if the callaway recommended by rapsodo is more accurate? Ty all t'he team

The SC needs to be in the same level as you are hitting. so set it in something the same height as the mat and you may get better data
Yes! There's a little platform they have that we weren't using but should have been!
you didn't use the RPT balls for the Rapsodo?
Not for this test. Get's even more accurate when using them.
What matt do u use in your yard?

Shadows from that tree?
That's an interesting thought!
Yeah the devices are in the sun and the ball going out of the shade
The mlm seems to stand a long way back behind the ball
It’s the no gloves that got devices acting up lol
Yes!!! This has to be the issue.
Canadians ?
Using 2 radar systems at once causes interference
Interesting. Unsure on this one.
