ㄴㄴ 번역이 단순하게 된 게 아니라 물 만난 물고기라는 말에 담겨 있는 의미(제 자리를 찾아 신나거나 편하다는 의미?)를 살려서 영어로 번역하면 fish in the water가 맞음. 그냥 '물에 있는 물고기'라는 의미가 아님. 예로 fish out of water를 익숙하지 않은 상황에 있어서 불편한 느낌을 표한하는 데 쓰기도 함.
