Rugby players don't generally work on their top speed because once you break the line the first 10metres are the most important. After getting past the 10metre you basically only have the fullback to beat as the last defender so top end speed isn't that necessary though it obviously does help if youre trying to run someone down in defence. Kolbe only really made his name in the last 2 years but has been playing for a while I guess he hit his prime a little later than most lol

Because of rugby union rules, it's important not to start kids too early, and we also use tear off ribbons for kids to avoid tackles and head injuries...
