Given how some ult skills and specials just let characters ignore what ferry does, and how bad she is at dealing with pressure with 66l, its probably gonna be at least until the next balance patch before we see any new ferrys outside the like, 3 ppl who played her since vanilla. SQ just recently dropped her too
To be honest I think Belia is good but not that good I know it's too early to tell like don't get me wrong I think he is strong but like I see Nier and I'm like that character might be better than both Belia's but I never fought a Nier I just saw people play her and matches with her if you guys disagree I like to hear why I want other people's prospective I just started playing gbfvr and I'm really having fun with it I always wanted to play the first but never got the chance to cause I owned a Xbox one but I heard Belia was the best when he was in the first game but I think they toned both Belia's down a bit again it's my first time playing gbfvr and I want to hear your guys prospective and I would also like some feedback thank you for reading this and I hope people see this comment. By the way I should mention this I play both Belia's and I'm not trying to downplay or anything or not trying to say he needs buffs or anything just wanted to let you guys know I play the character anyways thanks for reading the comment and can't wait to see what you guys say.
What made Belial strong in the first game was that he is a character with every tool, had a plus low mid that combo on crouching opponents and had mid screen combos something that took away from other characters after patches. Avatar Belial is really frail. He pays HP for fast ex skill recovery and damage but I don’t think he should also loss HP for ultimate skills sense he still need 50% to use them like every else. Personally I would like this HP% get adjusted for longer combos sense he losses almost 3/4 of the damage he dealt
I also am wondering the same thing, but based on other fighting game mechanics and the fact that it’s a “risk/reward” kind of move I’d assume he can’t kill himself right?

What's considered a high rank? And what's the average rank?
High rank is probably S to SSS. Average rank is about C or possibly low B I think.
Can avatar belial kill himself with his own damage or does it stop hurting him at 1hp?
he can't. he'll get to 1 and that's it.

He doesn't go down with self damage.
Just 1 HP is left and you can keep using H and U skills and warps.
