www.youcanic.c... In this informative video tutorial, we'll show you how to perform a DPF regen on your Mercedes-Benz. The DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) is responsible for capturing soot and other particulate matter from the exhaust system. Over time, the DPF can become clogged, resulting in reduced performance and increased emissions. A DPF regen is a process that involves heating up the filter to burn off any trapped particles, restoring its function. We'll guide you through the process of performing a DPF regen on your Mercedes-Benz, including instructions on how to initiate the process, what to expect during the process, and tips on how to avoid potential issues. This video is perfect for Mercedes-Benz owners who want to perform basic maintenance and improve their vehicle's performance and emissions. By following our easy-to-follow instructions, you can ensure that your DPF is functioning properly and avoid costly repairs down the line.

Same
I tried with my scantool, it wouldn’t let me do it as the fill level of dpf is at 399% which is too high for it
What brand and model is that scaner please?

Hi what scan u using. Regards
I had a P0546 code for the exhaust temperature sensor. While waiting for the part my GL 350 went into limp mode. I changed out the exhaust temperature sensor and that code is gone and now I have P2463. Now that I have the temperature sensor fixed. Will it do regeneration on its own and take me out of limp mode or do I have to get someone to do a forced regeneration?
Did you get anywhere with this? I have the same problem.
@benbutler9550 I had to force a regeneration. Then took it to the dealer for the Diesel fix. Then a month later got hit head on and totaled it out.
will this work if the car is in limp mode?
You can do regen with the stopped or driving. You should see both options depending on the scanner. Driving you won't be able to do if you are stuck in limp mode.
So unless you have a scanner you can’t do it.
Car does regen automatically. If there is an issue then it won't run regen on its own. You will need a scan tool. Here is a good one: www.youcanic.com/scanner
You should mention at the beggining of the video that you need a scanner for this. Wasted my time.
Speak clearly instead of waffling, keep your hands away from the camera if you are not using sign language.
Your not a diesel mechanic, best leave the lessons to qualified engineers.
