    Thank you for your time answering these questions. Do you feel this would be a good choice for blackberry vines? Here in Oregon we have allot of black berry’s and they grow in a giant bush sometimes to 8’ tall. The brush hog on the farm tractor will back over them and pulverize them but now with having a large enough machine Kubota u55 we are considering RUT but we’re not sure if a flail mower would be better

      Does good on different types of vines here, and the vine cutter on it eliminates tangled around the hub. The U55 a good size machine, you might be good with the 42in.

    I ordered one of these today to use with a Kubota U35-4. Looking forward to working with it!

    I would like to get one for my excavator but it has an open cab. Just wondering if there is a lot of debris that comes back on the windshield. I would be adding a poly shield on front of machine when using the cutter. I have a disc mulcher on my skid steer and it has a lot of flying debris.

    I’m considering the 42” mini mulcher but not many or any videos of it out, that I can find. All the videos seem to have the 28”

    I've been looking at that myself. I have an e-35. I noticed that it looses speed with boom functions, is that obnoxious or is it manageable. I want one for the reach.

      It still cuts pretty good, I try let it spoil up before cutting bigger material. So far I’m happy with it.

    Why don't you keep it energized ? Are you operating this on a thumb switch?

      That's what I thought, he needs to use continuous flow to allow the cutter head to get to full speed. The momentum and weight of cutting at speed would make it more effective.

    You still happy with this? I have the same E35 but with the smaller engine and am thinking about this for personal use around my pond and along the driveway.

    I have an E35 also. What control activates the cutter motor - the thumb control?

    • @grade-aland2388
      @grade-aland2388  3 роки тому +1

      Yes, on mine it has 2 auxiliary ports the one the thumb is hooked to is the one with larger diameter lines. I run the cutter on the feed. On the dash on mine you have to hold button down for constant flow option.

      If I remember correct, 20 on the sides and 35 on the front window. Visibility is good up until it gets dark. It’s ok during the day though. I need to get LED for night work.

    Don’t look like that machine has enough flow to operate that cutter , looks weak

    • @ClinttheGreat
      @ClinttheGreat 3 роки тому +1

      That machine has 16.9 gpm hydraulic flow and the max for cutter is 20 gpm, so he’s not far from the max. In part of the video, it sounds like it spools up and then down, not continuous flow. A lot of these cutters have an auto spool down “safety” feature. I wonder if that machine requires you to hold a trigger or push a button to keep the flow going and he’s not doing it.
