@@rillettesdumains2425 We are clearly using different definitions of “child.” A quick look at an online dictionary reveals multiple definitions including “A person between birth and puberty,” “A descendant,” “An unborn baby,” and “A human offspring.” No matter how old you are, you are your mother's child. When a woman is pregnant, it wouldn't be wrong to say that she's "with child." So, "unborn child" is not an oxymoron. But if you're not convinced, you can replace "child" with "human" and my comment still stands. Also, to say there is no existence to deny is kind of silly, isn't it? I mean, if the unborn doesn't exist, then how is the woman pregnant? Obviously, *something* (or *someone*) exists in her womb, otherwise she wouldn't be contemplating abortion.
If you’re not the woman who’s pregnant, it’s not your place to decide what happens to the child. If a person capable of pregnancy, bc who cares what someone defines as, also not your problem, wants to have an abortion, they can. I bet you eat meat right? Cows for example have the emotional intelligence of a 4 year old, so would you value that the same?
@@childishgambimbo3694 Oh, I'd be more careful with that cow argument, friend. You're suggesting that I'm a hypocrite for defending the unborn and eating meat, but you also mentioned in your argument that cows have the emotional intelligence of a 4-year-old. Does that mean that anyone who defends 4-year-olds is also a hypocrite if they eat meat? This, of course, exposes the flaw in your reasoning. By saying that the human rights of the unborn are subject to the opinions of the woman, you are inevitably making human rights subjective. If human rights are not given to all humans and are instead subjective, then why should that subjectivity end at birth? Why couldn't someone use your argument to justify killing certain groups of born people? Imagine someone saying, “if you're not the woman, it's not your place to decide what happens to the child,” but they're talking about killing a 4-year-old. Surely, you'd object, wouldn't you?
That's the way it is for everything that woke culture embraces. None of it is based on fact or common sense, and all are wilfully ignorant, because if they ever opened their eyes to what they're deliberately ignoring it would destroy everything they believe in - first their fragile egos, then their entire personalities (which are little more then ideologies). They even created the term 'my truth' and 'your truth' to further ensure that they can't be criticised (when they do, if they don't immediately accuse someone of being phobic, instead they say 'well, that's your truth!'). It's deeply unpalatable for them to consider that there is ONLY one truth, and everything else is bullshit - and the truth does not favour them, ever.
This professor is acting like she is still in her classroom using her bully intimidation techniques on people to push her own agenda (one that is unscientific nutty should also be mentioned). Her employment, as a teacher, should be terminated.
@@mbukukanyau Not sure about anything she is talking about. The human species is dioecious, requires a subset of 2 different individuals in the species to reproduce. One produces eggs and the other sperm. All terms such as sex, gender, her, him, woman, man... all of them are based on this biological fact. This professor belongs to a new cult and should not be allowed to educate people.
What's horrible about your wish for termination is that it will certainly go unfulfilled. Modern day "professors" within universities are necessarily bullies that shove their ideological biases down the throats of the impressionable youth. Every single field has been infected by woke agendas and infiltrated by pseudo intellectuals. One must adopt the doctrine or else they are ostracized and punished. University has become a sparring place not for ideas, but for victimhood and trauma. I sent an email outlining my professor's, Dr. Justin Wilson, discriminatory behaviours (toward white people) with dates and direct quotes. I was basically ignored and no action was taken against him in anyway. Why? Because he's indigenous and I'm just a white male. Thank God we live in a society where cultural eugenics is permissible and encouraged eh? My friend sent an email to his professor about her incorrect marking in regards to his APA formatting. After this point he only got 80s and then got a 65 on the final, meaning he got a C+ overall. This man is a 4th year student doing a first year course for a necessary credit (his GPA is 3.5), and was getting strictly 90s before he sent the email. This professor was a feminist activist and spoke frequently in class from a misandrist point of view. He was scared about sending the email because he knew of the possible ire it may draw due to his straight white maleness. Unfortunately she proved him right. University is an ideology mill under the guise of a center for learning. One does not learn, they are told what to think. This is the antithesis of what university is supposed to be.
Can someone PLEASE get into her class at Berkeley and on every exam just cross out the question asked and write “I’m answering a more interesting question to me” and answer with random celebrity trivia or something? And then report back here, because we need to know how that turns out for you.
"I'm answering a more interesting question." I'm sorry, you aren't a member of congress, you don't get to choose the questions, you get to answer the questions or be held in contempt of congress. The fact that they refuse to hold these people to account is the reason why these congressional hearings are such jokes which never result in any action or answers.
But for all I see this deflection, and refusal to answer a question in congressional hearings, I never see anyone get cited - that's why I think these hearings are a joke. Simple yes/no questions get intricate evasions, even when a yes/no answer is demanded. And this flat refusal to answer the question? Can they cite people for contempt? Because I've seen too many occasions where they should. I'm asking from Australia btw - excuse my ignorance. But this trans BS is taking root here too, it's a worry.
@@alistairogilvy7696 I think they have the power to cite them in contempt of congress, but I think it would have to be a congressional vote and you couldn't get enough votes to actually enforce it without a controlling majority in the favor of the interested party.

@@jaremakarwowski1574 I think it's more that they've been encouraged in a delusion when they were young - this is why Florida banned gender ideology in young children at school, as it takes advantage of a child's imagination. Just because a girl is a tomboy, or a boy is more sensitive, doesn't make them the opposite gender inside. But if that view is encouraged before puberty, it's likely to be harmful after. Boys can also think they're Superman or Batman, but that shouldn't be affirmed as reality - and you wouldn't want to rely on them to save you, as one individual put it. But the disproportionate rate of su1c1de says to me this is a mental illness.
Also, do they have evidence that it's being discriminated against that causes the suicides? Because I would think at least part of it is because of the transgender lifestyle itself and the confusion and depression that comes with living outside of reality
Facts are-all pregnant people are women... Not all women can get pregnant. This is not a junior situation here. Stop with the madness. Being a woman is not a feeling or a vibe... It is biological. Although I suppose intersex is what we would be discussing.

For the record, and Susan, I hope you are listening: a man putting on a dress does not magically gain the ability to have children; a female wearing plaid does not suddenly produce sperm. No matter how much they wish it was otherwise.
Love these manipulations with "denying trans-people exist". There's no such thing as "trans people" but some individuals who deem themselves as opposite sex. And those "trans-men" and "non-binary" with "capacity of pregnancy" are just women who deem of themselves as "men" or "non-binary". Plain and simple.

I support trans rights up until the part where they supercede those of women who were born a woman. I'm also an absolutist when it comes to equality. It isn't equal rights if anyone else's rights are denied or suppressed to appease someone's feelings.
We are already seeing more and more "trans" men competing in women's sports. And can't "trans" men already use female restrooms if they want to?? Maybe that's illegal in some states. Not sure...but I know that gender neutral bathrooms are becoming more and more popular😐
Agreed. I would also like to point out as a lesbian, I've seen a lot of 'woke' homophobia lately. Aka saying stuff like I hate cis/white gay people. or calling gay people transphobic for not being attracted to certain genitals, trying to shame people for only being attracted to one sex. Telling gay men they need to like vagina is not progressive, it's homophobic. On the same note I've noticed people will say the most awful things about women but they put cis/white in front of it so it's okay. Trans women not being the same as real women doesn't mean their rights need to be taken away or that we need to cause violence towards them or anything. But they have lived a different experience than most women have.
I stop respecting the lgbt community when they started fishing for attention and competing over falsified oppression. The same community that wants peace pushed Dave chappelles trans friend to suicide. We are now seeing a lot more gay and lgbt conservative voters which is great
Im from Romania and if someone here said stuff like: "person with the capacity of pregnancy" instead of woman, "i am answering a more interesting question to me", all the news channels would make fun of her so much that she would probably lose most of her political power because her own political party would put her down, not wanting to embarrass themselves too much.

I should’ve tried this tactic on tests in school. Teacher asks: What’s 2 x 2? Me: I like red. Teacher: That doesn’t answer the question. Me: Oh, I wanted to answer what my favorite color is. I am more interested in that question.
I honestly regret coming back for my master's. I have spent more time rolling my eyes in class then actually learning things that will help me in my career.
At least her blatant dismissal of his question about the child's value proves that her position relies on wilful ignorance.
She implictly admitted she doesn't think babies have value. Disgusting.
Willful? Yes. Ignorant? No. She knows a baby has worth. She simply just doesn't care. She's past feeling.
If she were to admit to the value of an unborn baby's worth, for her, that would be admitting defeat. She can't have *that!*
The ends justify means.
This professor is acting like she is still in her classroom using her bully intimidation techniques on people to push her own agenda (one that is unscientific nutty should also be mentioned). Her employment, as a teacher, should be terminated.
Do you know why she claims Women have cysts? Is she referring to mammaries?
@@mbukukanyau Not sure about anything she is talking about. The human species is dioecious, requires a subset of 2 different individuals in the species to reproduce. One produces eggs and the other sperm. All terms such as sex, gender, her, him, woman, man... all of them are based on this biological fact. This professor belongs to a new cult and should not be allowed to educate people.
Disgusting that her class and position are receiving funding while maths and sciences are not receiving that funding being allocated in her direction.

I'm sorry, you aren't a member of congress, you don't get to choose the questions, you get to answer the questions or be held in contempt of congress.

Exacly. They can't accept their body, they transition into a parody, it helps for some time, then suicide stats just go up.
Crazy that those that transition also attempt at the same rate
Also, do they have evidence that it's being discriminated against that causes the suicides? Because I would think at least part of it is because of the transgender lifestyle itself and the confusion and depression that comes with living outside of reality

The next question worth asking is how did we let people like this become professors?
Facts are-all pregnant people are women... Not all women can get pregnant. This is not a junior situation here. Stop with the madness. Being a woman is not a feeling or a vibe... It is biological. Xx chromosomes define a woman. Xy chromosomes define a man. There is no in-between. If there were then we could have a discussion on a third possible sex. Although I suppose intersex is what we would be discussing.

Him: Of course not.
Her: Then you are denying that bananas are plaid!

There are people who believe they are Napoleon, too, but nobody except them thinks they actually are. Look at where these ideas originated, and at the people who first put them forward (Kinsey and Money) and their stories. These weren't balanced individuals.
Didn’t know what to call this type of equality view. I definitely agree.
I stop respecting the lgbt community when they started fishing for attention and competing over falsified oppression. The same community that wants peace pushed Dave chappelles trans friend to suicide. We are now seeing a lot more gay and lgbt conservative voters which is great
So you don’t support it anymore?
