I'm hyped. As I said in my comment in the last video, the Diary of a Wimpy Kid style actually looks really good animated. Also the Löded Diper subreddit is amazing.

it took an entire feature length movie to cover one book After all
Honestly they could do one episode for like each chapter
Actually covering a book is easier in episodes than a movie. Since in a film you only have a certain amount of time to cover a whole book and you have to cut some things. In a Tv series no thougth you can put more details from the book and yes episodes are shorter but you have more episodes to come and the book can easily be covered in 30 or maybe even 40 episodes. I do not know if you understand my point it is kind of difficult to explain in a single comment.

like Anime it takes a couple episodes to cover an entire Arc and one book of the manga is convented into several episodes of the amine Respectfully,making filler episodes ever so often
i can see that working here it's a format that works well already after all.

They milked Diary of a Wimpy Kid for movies back in 2010-2017, but now they want a Diary of a Wimpy Kid TV series. By the way, I did watch all of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid movies and I own The Long Haul on DVD.
