They finally wrote Jake an episode to show off the rest of his languages! Except the Hindi he's learned as an adult (so that he can get roles in Bollywood films that are shot in London.)

The "Fancy living in Spain and not even BOTHERING to learn the language" is actually really accurate of how us Brits think 😅 When we live abroad we just expect everyone else to speak English, we are SO bad at cultural integration, yet expect it of everyone who comes to the UK.

From quite a young age he attended a boarding school in Switzerland. He's actually Italian by birth. Truly a European polyglot.

He was born near Zurich, Switzerland. His parents are from Italy. Maybe his German only sounded really good and not perfect because he had to speak High-German and not in a Swiss-German accent that he grew up with.
