Lauren should teach a class for wannabe UA-camrs. She has found a great formula, from sailing, to diving, to shore excursions, to boat maintenance. It's all interesting. She also does a great job with editing and with music and capturing the beauty of nature. And she recognizes her own physical beauty and shares that with us, while always keeping things tasteful and appropriate. I imagine there will be a surge in subscribers soon, and she will hit one million before she knows it. I hope to be around to celebrate that day. It will be hard earned, and well deserved.
Hi Lauren, watching your scrubbing effort I couldn't help to add this comment. While pushing on the hull under water with your spatula, the reactive force is pushing you away make it harder to do the work. A good solution is to loop a line under the hull, secure it to cleats or life lines on both sides tight, and then hold on to that to prevent the reactive force pushing you away. I used to clean the SOG instrument wheel just in front of the keel when it fouled up and stopped working.
We are lucky in some respects, living in the West of Scotland. Lash to a harbour wall at high tide wait for the tide, dry out and scrub. Very often two tides, turn the boat between tides. Now, if I could sail in blue warm waters with little tide I would give it a go.👍
Hey there Lauren. That little creature you found looks like a decorator crab, they're actually very unique. Thanks again for your amazing videos and keep sailing and stay safe.
Hey Lauren. Thanks for the shout out for all of us Nomad divers. Tank days are long gone for me. Never going back. You can find all kinds of interesting things in 30’ of water or less. Best part is there is still good light in most water. Cheers.
Hi, Look at this beautiful place❤🎉in the dive shots, thankyou for taking me there🎉🎉and now we are going to charge our glasses with 'happ-hour'😊 before dinner🎉🎉🎉 Pause ( old people that can't get about should watch your videos to make em happy )🙂
Don't you just love diving on a reef? My favorite scuba dives were hovering 3' above a reef and watch all the turf battles, seeking a mate, guarding their nests, etc. When you first get down there you are in a very aggressive position being horizontal and they are afraid of you. Then they figure out you're not going to attack so they go about their business. Then they figure you are their protector and like you. You are bigger than anything else around them They get mad when you leave because they are losing their protection. Loved the underwater videos. The dinner looked fun. You have some truly great friends. You left the boat in great hands. Cats have been known to attack when they see things are under attack. Loved the video, Lauren.
Youz look good in the 'happy-hour joint' , such a lovely place, with a pool table😊great shot Raph, we called that ' miss-cue, inoff the blue' lol,, I love that my boats-make, is named after this gorgeous playground 🎉 Caribbean Sailing Yacht 😊 I enjoyed this so much Cheers to you and your friends, oh and Mako 😅
What an absolute stunning place the water is gorgeous! Love how you found the balance between everything you want to show and how natural it is! The underwater footage is always breathtaking!! safe sailing and can't wait for the bonfire
I really like what you are doing. I get my grand daughter to watch as often as I can. You are a doing great Water is gorgeous, your boat sure picked up a good bit of free riders below the water. I will second, running a line up and over around the hull. Gives you a hand hold and puts more energy to to scrub hand . You got a workout You are looking happy and living good. As a grandpa, I feel like, I have to check in on you often. You really are an awesome lady😊 Getting off the boat, and enjoying a bit of recoup time does wonders for the soul. Awesome you are❤🎉😂😊
Great video! Appreciate your dedication to the underwater video! Helps the less fortunate land locked divers until the next adventure. Hi to Steph and Travis too!
May I make a suggestion for easier hull cleaning...suction cup..make it much easier to put on pressure...I clean hulls professionally a suction cup is a time saver.
Great video Lauren! You are definitely in your element in all those underwater shots! The skipper job in Greece sounds like a wonderful opportunity both for you and the people along for the adventure!
Lauren, What amazing dives and thank you for sharing your adventures with us. I am so glad to see you adding a camera. While you are having a joyful time, please be alert, safe, and sail with other boats. As you know it is getting very precarious on the water. I will keep praying for your safety. Happy Sailing ⛵
Great episode really enjoyed the dive with y’all that used to be what I loved as a kid growing up in the Florida Keys I used a hookah rig a lot just working the reefs and made a lot of good money cleaning boats and recovering lost anchors and such. Wish I could go to Greece but I refuse to fly anywhere anymore and it’s too far to swim so you and some very lucky soul go and enjoy, I’ll just watch the video when it comes out. God bless you my young friend and thank you.
🎉🎉🎉 once again Lauren 😊 you always make me smile 😀 every time I watch your videos. Tons of love ,peace and respect C Los. Keep safe sane and healthy. Hope to see you soon my UA-cam friend 😍 Blessings,Carlos ✝️🙏❤️😊🇺🇸
Lauren, another wonderful video. Suggestion, when wanting to scrub the bottom of the boat, since it is so much hard work to keep kick to keep pressure on the hull, one thing I do is drop a line on the opposite side of the boat, then while underwater, I go grab it and hold it while scraping the opposite side of the hull. Keeping a little tension while holding that line makes it less tiring than kicking all the time. Plus make the task faster! 😊 Glad you’ve been showing BVI locations as we are heading back there in March 2025. We have not been backing there since the devastating hurricanes almost wiped out everything. 😢
Long time sailor. Love your channel. Know BVI well and Saba old and new version. Great to see the life to the reefs return. Was at Jost a month ago and was disappointed with diving. What you showed was encouraging. Can you share exactly where you were? Please keep up your effort it matter more than you know.
Well damn, a chance to sail with Lauren just went out the window. I no longer fly to foreign countries. Beautiful water and enjoyed swimming along with u. Thanks for sharing and I hope u have a good time on your new adventures coming up.
Lauren, I have been following since about 44k subscribers and I have to say you have become such an awesome video creator. I went to the Bahamas for my 50th and fell in love with the islands and must say I really enjoy coming along on your adventures as it is a great way to still feel somewhat connected to the area. See you next Thursday 😊
Awesome video girl!!! Epic underwater footage for sure!!! The big ray was so cool. See ya next time!!! I would love to win that trip with you! That's going to be a super fun trip for sure!!
The Sailing Odyssey Festival looks amazing! I can't go in September, but will be looking for other similar experiences. You're definitely living one of my dreams, that's just awesome.
Thanks Lauren for the great underwater video. I don’t have the opportunity to swim like this, but thanks to you I can afford to travel))) Big hello to the first mate))))
Great episode; thank you. You are beautiful. Please cover your ears when scraping the boat. I have seen many times when people have problems with detritus entering the ear and causing big problems..
Great video love the water. Love snorkeling like that. Need to see if you can find a suction cup to use underwater to help hold you near your boat bottom. Thank you.
Security is ALWAYS a good idea. I hope you haven't had any problems with safety. Of course, I think we've all heard about the sad incident at the far south end.
No hunting. Protected waters, or just diving for fun? There was so much crap coming off the bottom of your boat, I was hoping you had ear plugs in. When you got out it looked like you did. Beautiful snorkeling although I didn't see many big fish. Thanks Lauren. Stay safe. ❤🙏
Eustacia Island? drone shot at the beginning of the video? Great video, great area!! I have been blessed to have spent a lot of time there!! I am glad that you have come to love the area as well!! keep it going!
Exceptional movie. Highly recommend. I saw it in the 70's not too long after it came out and it is what initially got me interest in scuba diving, something I've been doing for over 30 years now, recreationally and professionally.
Watching your scrubbing effort, makes me question why they were so much marine growth? When you had only done complete out of water over haul a month or so ago.
I absolutely love your cinemaphotography! You may thing it is easy with such beautiful locations, but know it does take skills to capture your useable content. Do you ever consider doing charter to teach a variety of skills?
@@laurenlanders I have been looking at your profile (bio) i have so many questions about sailing, so I’m going to start watching your channel from your first episode . I see you purchase your boat in PR, I have a place there I will be there next month for my mom’s birthday. Currently in Florida, semi retired and considering sailing to travel back and forth. I have a million questions and watching your content has answered most of them. Thanks. Sincerely appreciate you.
Sorry to hear about more incidents onboard your boat Lauren. Hopefully the cameras and buddying up with Gypsy and Clam Shack help deter would be intruders. Have you reported the incidents to the authorities on the islands whose waters you were in at the time? Take it easy and enjoy Greece, when the time comes.

Thank you Lauren another great video..
The underwater shots were great.
The camera is a good idea. Does it send you motion alerts?
Now im hearing carribean blue.☠️👍
Hi, L.L. How do you decide if the waters are safe to swim? Regarding underwater currents or sharks. 😊
I studied currents in college and living on the water. I’ve also spent a lot of time diving with sharks and they aren’t a threat (:
