Like if you switch off to the man guarding the roller then that’s okay but you switching off to the help rotation player is indeed off ball defense. You two players away from the ball atp. I tell of ballers all the time, it’s POSSIBLE to still win comp games and play ON BALL the ENTIRE game. I do it all the time. With different teams at that.
I switch to help because AIs suck at pinching and always overhelp, leaving shooters wide open. I consider off-balling just sitting on the center the entire time. 🤷🏾♂
