If Lucifer was made perfect, then he wouldn't have been made with a terrible pride. Everything is in God's will and God knows all things therefore He created Satan knowing he would rebel and bring a third of the angels with him along with most of mankind. So ... the free will explanation doesn't cut it for me. I can't understand it now, but hope I will understand later.

Lucifer let the pride in his heart take over and even manipulated the others to over throw God. We aren't perfect and we can't help but sin accidently we were born with a sin nature into a sinful world. Angels are perfect. Were made to serve God. Lucifer chose to be evil by choice. He was not born in a sinful flesh or sinful world. God made us in His own image. The angels had choices and still do. The fallen ones chose to rebel knowing fully God would not let that slide. I hope this kinda helped. Maybe we can ask God when we meet Him. ❤

I think also part of the differences between angels and humans is also the angels being outside of time as we understand it

Fallen angels came to open our eyes and gave us knowledge that god wanted for humans not to have knowledge, why did he kick Adam & Eve out the garden ? Because they got knowledge

In reality we do not know the full reasons for God’s decision. However, we do know that Adam and Eve were told not to eat the fruit from the tree of knowledge, and after doing so committed sin. Have you thought that maybe it’s not that God didn’t want Adam and Eve to have knowledge, but instead learn from God himself. We aren’t born with knowledge of all and we don’t die with it, we learn each day and grow, therefore it makes sense that God as our father wanted Adam and Eve to grow beside God and learn from him as a human father would do with their son. This seems like the way he would want it, given everything we are taught in the bible and learn about God’s nature as a personal being who loves and cares for his creation. What Jesus says in John 8 42-46 demonstrates that as people we were lost and separated from God and are taught by the devil giving into temptation, desire and committing sin, and with Jesus’ sacrifice we know this was made undone by God so that we may have a relationship with him once more, so that we may be guided by God how was originally intended.
