The Heuer cs2110 is absolutely legendary and maybe the most underrated watch of the past 25 years!
This re-edition sparked a new era in watches, and in a sea of Monaco’s that look very modern and similar, this limited edition remains a masterpiece. The dial is art!
As someone who has a large watch collection, and also a car guy, my XS 2110’s remain at the top. Beautiful watch
I agree with you. The only problem I have with the brand is that they add budget movements inside but they ask premium prices for them
@@BraveBeaters Agree. As a brand, they are not at the top of my list. I much prefer Rolex and some others, but this particular watch is just in a league of its own.

This is a very well made video with top quality filming. I think you are making some of the most interesting watch videos on youtube. The only problem I have is that they are costing me money as I want to buy nearly every watch you review. I have just bought this particular CS2110 model as a result of watching this video. I was unaware of this particular version of the Monaco until seeing this video. I think it is a nice change to the more common blue & white dial variants.

The cs2110 is the most understated monaco re-edition. For my taste this dial is the most beautiful on a modern monaco.

Love the Monaco. This variant not so much! I appreciate them trying to 'clean it up' for more formal wear, but the blue 'McQueen' version and the 'Gulf' version are the ones.
Great review though buddy. The B-roll and production was incredibly good, even by your usual standards.

The watch isn't my cup of tea, tho only 38mm it looks much bigger and I prefer the original Gulf colours. Tho it's not my thing, I do agree it's an icon & worthy of being a Brave Beater.... For me a square watch that should definitely be on the list is the wristwatch that started it all, the Cartier Santos.

Thank you Steve! 38 by 38 indeed, looks like a 40 - 41 mm in fact on wrist. but still an icon, not that iconic as the Santos but yes. I do need to review some dressy pieces. reverse and Santos should be 2 great options :D As for Certina, yes, I Just got the reply from them. that is why I said nothing until now. because I had no official reply from them besides the one from Instagram. Anyway. we should continue the Garage initiatives :)
Great video! I bought the CS2111 instead of the CS2110, purely as an aesthetic preference. I find the dial much more balanced and harmonious, both at a distance (where only the broad hands and index markers are prominent), and up close (where the fine minute and sub-dial markings become visible). My sense is that the CS2110 minute ring contrasts a bit too sharply against the empty black dial, creating a halo that dominates the overall appearance. Minor detail, I personally prefer Super-LumiNova over tritium. The CS111 will probably be less collectible because it was the second re-issue and was produced in greater numbers, but I bought it because I like to actually wear my watches and of the two, I think this one is slightly better looking. But I definitely wouldn't wear this watch while doing mechanic work... the plexiglass is too easily scratched.

I love the CS2110 ( they remind me of the 1533) I think they’re cult classics. These reincarnations relaunched the Monaco in the modern era. The Monaco is more popular now than it ever was.
