Those setting would not help 2jp what so ever. Totally different setups. You can’t take settings from one car and put them on another car and they work. The cars would have to be identical for that to happen.

It bottles my mind that those x3s that make 400 +hp are still using cvt transmissions. The fact that those belts can hold up to that kinda power is incredible.

Traction problem, need to do a burnout before the run
Watch the launches of 2jp. The back end is bouncing off the line. It squats then bounces right up. Crank up the rebound on the rear shocks to get the back to stay down a little longer.

The rear suspension squats, rebounds up, then as it's settling back down the turbo hits. I think you guys need to slow down that initial compression stroke so that the car reaches full squat closer to the turbo hit and slow down the rebound to control the speed of antisquat so the car doesn't hop.
Trying to slow mo and zoom in. On the last run the suspension rear was already on the way up when the turbo hit.
It is blowing through the stroke and rebounding for sure.
Cant wait to see that Pro R with a turbo.

Hey boys!! Maybe go to a progressive rate rear spring or get some bump stops on those shocks. I run them on my short course car and love the way the car transfer slightly and then gets on the stiff spring

Great content as always. @SXSBlog I’d love for you to install engine/throttle cut traction control that short track & other cars use. Ends up being a tiny box on the dash somewhere…or probably a different setup for your ECU. It would also make the car sound a little better, with more of a machine-gun pop until it hooks up. You guys are close, but given it’s a car you want to hop in and be fast in most places, add the TC and can always dial it back/turn it off. ;)

Saw Frankie in the title so I decided I had the time to whatch one of there videos.
When you think about it when you put a taller gear in something it makes act like it has more torque so it will “smack” the tires harder, which might be why 2JP is spinning so much much off the brake. It might need the softer springs for it to weight transfer better.
I'll be honest. This is one of my favorite channels ever but i for sure slowed down on watching every single thing you upload when the boys left.

Turn the leave RPM and boost down a touch so it doesn’t blow the tires off as fast and may hook.
It's the offset paddles impending the traction, after launch, just riding the roost.
Try narrower tires maybe cutting deeper will load the scoopsmore thus hopefully more forward thrust! Just a thought.👍

Sous is an animal. Can we all just take a minute to appreciate the fact that he did that in a 2-wheel drive machine and these guys are doing it in a four-wheel-drive machine
I like the 2jz jurrasic park build. Very cool drop the ass end on it a few so it squats more to transfer weight to hook up more. I think thats key get the ass end lower. And the shock damping just right to be plush when it squats on the hit. If it pulls up a bit can you lenghten it just a hair or add weight to the front. I really thinks ass end needs to be lower for bite. Shorten the rear spring a inch or two and keep the same spring rate then tweak damping as needed. I definitely think that ass end is to high.
May have too stiff a spring now? Appears to have no squat on take off for the transfer to happen. Then on the run the springs bounced the car a bit out of the hole, slow mo, you can see it. turn the rebound down as far as possible as well.
19:11 this is the reason Suzuki needs to build a SxS. Their engines are incredible!
The rear is squatting on the launch then springing right back up, need to soften the damper to keep it squared throughout the whole run

They need to till that drag strip more my opinion. It’s so hard packed under that soft top that you’re digging straight through to the hard packed dirt creating a ton of spin. Definitely seemed like it needed to dig deeper.

Just look harder guys as she not bitting into the ground at all, she just spinning on the surface.
Try take some air out of the rear tyres to see if they will bite better.
With that jump, the further you go, the better you land.
That was the hope and we planned it right!!!
