When my father passed away 2 years ago I found comfort in this song and listen to it over and over again for more than a month. On his anniversary a few days ago I was driving in my wife's car (my car has no radio) and this song came on!)
So hard to find more modern day classical music that I vibe with but this is heaven sent. Thanks. I lean heavy in the baroque era. A piece like this helps me branch out more.
I had given up hope of ever hearing this again! I first heard it in Boulder, Colorado. I bought the CD, and somehow lost it !! I have been unable to either find it or purchase it here in Germany. Thank You ! Thank You ! Thank You !
I first heard this today on a classical music station. I enjoyed it so much that I had to look it up on UA-cam. I'm so glad that I found it and have saved it to my favorite music playlist. Thanks for uploading.
I never heard of this composer until today. I heard his music on my local fine arts station in Cleveland Ohio. I listened to some of his other compositions and am totally impressed with all of them. Georgs Pelecis's music is absolutely the best in my opinion.
I first heard this song in 2001, when it was released on a compilation album entitled, "From Winter's Stillness". It is achingly beautiful, and I'm pleased to find it here so that I can share it with others.
I want to study this score (the soloist and the orchestra part) but I can't find it in anywhere, to buy or to download! It is so wonderful. I can't remember who and where but someone told me that this music was written only for the white keys on the piano (that's why it is called "Concertino Bianco" - "white concert" in italian!). To get different impressions of tonality, Pelecis uses the "modalism system". I am not an experto but I love to study music and discover new composers and works.

Just beautiful. Simple and emotional all at once. Loved it. Modern Classical music at its finest along with Karl Jenkin's "Benedictus".

Thank you so much for uploading this. I've been meaning to do this one for ages but never got around to it. Such a beautifully piece of music.
Ethereal, beautiful... It hits you in your heart and radiates through you.
Must have been fun to sight-read through this piece the first time, especially that last movement (which really moves!). 🎶 🎉💥 😃
This blows me away every time I hear it. I spent a bit of time to track down a CD recording that included this piece and I'm so glad that I did.
Absolutely gorgeous. Please tell me the name of the CD so I can order it.

To quote Wagner's comment on Brahms, nice to see "what could still be done with the old forms." Bravo, Maestro Pelecis
