Hi Ursula, Can you check something? When I completed a championship I checked the Champion Ranks page and all the rosettes had Halloween themes. I don’t know if this is just a change to the current ribbons or if it’s an update they didn’t intend for anyone to find yet. I couldn’t screen shot it (I’m having tech issues). I think there’s going to be another Championship drive for Halloween. Have you had the same thing on the Champion Rankings page? Also, a tip for those looking to switch houses: you get different jousting courses depending on what house you join. So practice before you try. I ran out of time on mine because I expected a different course and missed the day’s progression point. I think the plan is to make the magic horses a permanent fixture in Jorvik. One of Star Stable Online’s bigger issues is how new players miss out on limit events. Items are bad enough but a horse? The main draw of the game? You’re not going to encourage new players that way. So they looked to fix it and I have to admit, I like how they’re doing this. The fun aspect of this speculation is when you consider the pattern. 6 Magical Horses were made permanently available (via quests) in the update for the Hollow Woods. The birthday horses are now permanent additions (though with limited fanfare) and a new permanent area with a clear connection to dragons has been added to the game. I do think the dragon themed horses are going to be staying at the fair because it makes little sense to remove them. You can buy pet dragons from the tent next to the space I am 99% sure we’ll find them in. If bringing back magical horses as permanent fixtures to the game is likely to be connected to new areas of the game, I’m all for it. In the case of the pony barge, I think they will set up a new ferry service. One that takes you to a small island off the coast of Jorvik. This would be where you’d find Protus, Sedna, Tellina and Kampos. If you look at the story/description of Tellina and Kampos, it says the following: “The origin of these magical horses is a mystery, but some whisper of a once lush islet off the coast of South-East Jorvik, where magic horses roamed free.” It does state that it sank into the sea leaving them homeless. But with the final battle against Garnok coming up, who’s to say that the sea bed isn’t getting pushed up? I can see an island of magic horses being a useful place to them. Not only because they can put the sea themed horses there but the Rainbow Kingdom horses too. This would also provide space for new magic horse designs and it’s a nice call back to the Isle of Horses storage the game used to have. A ferry to Dundell is another possibility (they have docks after all), but I can think of one more. Does anyone remember the Tour of Jorvik quest line? I think it was for the birthday event last year. I haven’t been able to find the dialog for this, but I remember this quest implying that the map we currently have access to is about a quarter to a third of the total landmass of Jorvik. If they’re planning to open up the map further, they’ll need new ways to do it other than the tunnel being built by the Baroness’ race track.
I love EVERYTHING you just said lol. I didn't consider a magic horse island but I love that idea for all of the horses that maybe don't fit into a specific area! Considering the Jarla and Cape West ferry share the same dock, we could absolutely still get both ferries - magic horse island and Dundull on alternating schedules. As for the championship...I'll have to check when I'm home 👀👀 ALSO! I have all the coverage of quests and events from the last 2 years of my channel! I read through all of the dialogue so you might find what you're looking for there!

I suspect the quest to unlock it (if there is one) would involve making sure James didn't use it as another money maker. Let me know on the rosettes. I fully expect them to be the Season 1 rosettes when I next look now that I've told you. But I thought it was worth asking if anyone else had seen the change. We knew they were planning more Championship ranking events, but I didn't think they'd do one so soon and as part of the Halloween event. You can! I've tested it too. You can only get 1 point once per day for only one house, but you can switch however often you would like without losing your progress on any of your houses.
I love that each house has their own music variant and sounds in the pledge board! That's a really fun little detail
