That New Pacific 757 was probably empty when he departed Las Vegas. They do a lot of charter work so they may have flown passengers in but flew out empty.
It was Northern Pacific agent obvious.
Pitch was oscillating quite a bit. I wonder what that was about.
@@blairhoughton7918 likely updrafts from heat thermals. Temp at the airport ground level was 113F that day.
@@fontcaicoya5686 Which shows exactly why pilots have always loved the B757. Granted she was probably empty of passengers, but even on a very hot day, that bird really wants to fly. Of course, for most commercial operations, the pilots use just enough thrust to meet their prescribed climb rates so you rarely get to see what 757 can do. But they have a beautiful wing and lots of thrust (.34 thrust to weight, best of its class) so if given a chance, they can out climb any other mainline passenger plane.
This was a normal take off.
Average 757 takeoff, that plane is way too powerfull
Empty plane
When I’m in charge of the world, there will be no music at air shows.
I was thinking how obnoxious it would be to go to an air show and get blasted by someone trying to "improve" the ambiance with theme music. Yuck!
Oh my Gosh. Yes! That would be awesome!
I go on 'trade days' for the Avalon Airshow in Victoria, Australia and it's so much more pleasant watching the aircraft fly without annoying background music and inane commentary.
It's an American thing. Dubai Airshow doesn't have any music or presenter. Just jet engine music and an app to tell you which aircraft is performing.
And that´s the reason, why the 757 is called: The sports plane
It’s called “The Light Twin”
It’s not called a sports plane.
It's also called "The Flying Pencil" due to it's narrow fuselage.
It’s not called “The sports plane”.
@sebastian0018 ua-cam.com/video/rT7gY1ADTYM/v-deo.htmlsi=67zD3Kqj3zTkueP_
The 757 with Rolls-Royce RB 2-11 E4 engines, is a sports car. Massive power from those engines
That's why the 757 is so awesome, unbridled power!
757's can takeoff steeply with no problem
The guy in Vegas was trying to get above small arms fire.
With the heat coming off the runway in Vegas, I'm surprised planes aren't trying to take off while standing still.
Actually, it’s the opposite. I live in Phoenix. Yes you would think that as hot hair rises. This would provide more lift. Maybe it does to a point. But it also becomes much less dense and can no longer support the lift of the plane. There have been times in Phoenix when temperatures were in excess of 120° in the airport, shut down takeoffs because the air was not dense enough for planes to operate safely.
@@oopswrongplanet7309 It is a bit of a double edged sword. I have only ever flown gliders, and we need thermals to stay in the air, but I can see where heavy aircraft won't get enough lift from that to overcome the hit from the lesser air density.
The 757 is considered the "hotrod" of all passenger airliners. I've flown on them many times and their take-offs are exhilarating !
Not steep at all for a 757. Ever fly out of KSNA in one?
I have, United 757 from SNA to SFO when I was a kid. Extra fun because of the noise abatement. Love the 757
"Pilot Takes Off Too Steeply" ... no.. he didn't. Sad when channels like this resort to click-bait to drive views.
Agreed!
The RNZAF 757s have done some incredibly steep climbs at airshows
Yeah when your airforce does t have fighter jets, you improvise. 😂
"Too steeply" my rear.
That’s typical of 757’s. Thats why Kennedy steve called them rocket ships. 😂
That 757 Steep climb was pathetic compared to a DC9 takeoff I saw once and it actually had passengers in it. (probably around a 47 degree angle which is ridiculous but back then no one really gave a shat anyways 😂)
That pilot probably had a good reason to get out of Vegas quickly. And of course when you have new fighter like the F-35 you're going to show it off.
F-35 has been flying since 2006.
The pilot won the major jackpot and was fleeing the mafia
@@kenfk3794 Back in '82 when I was in the RCAF, one of the CC-137 Boeing 707 air-to-air refuellers was down with the CF-5s for Red Flag at Nellis AB, as cthey were getting ready to leave 2 of the ladies on the flight crew still had 5 Silver Dollars between them and played them while waiting for their ride back to Nellis, they wom a couple of thousand dollars out of the machines, paid cthe ctaxes, got it converted to Canadian Dollars and went home with more money than they came down with.
Too steeply? Did I miss the stall and crash?
"Pilot takes off *very* steeply". Fixed
That 757 identifies as a space shuttle. 💀
The F-15 just needed to take a leak.
Dude at the end swishing paper towels around with his feet...
I thought it was normal for A340 to use almost all the runway for take off.
There was a lot of runway left in that segment. The foreshortening from the angle just made it look short.
Airbus uses a derated take off all the time. The airplane can get airborne much quicker if they used all the power.
Another snarky comment. That was a -600 it has massive engines.
The pilot saw the whole flip on the Artificial Horizon display.
Uhhh, no the A340 wasn't as close as it appeared.
Your aviation anthologies are the best on UA-cam. The Las Vegas takeoff seemed within commercial parameters, although the last part of the climb was rather steep.
The A340 and the B757 are polar opposites as far as power to weight ratio is concerned but I love them both👍❤️💖😍
It really is not the case. An A340 at max take off weight can fly for 18 hours. The b757 can fly for 8. If you fuel the A340 for 8 hours, it will out perform the 757 every single time.
That A340 is a -600. It has very powerful engines. Stop with this nonsense.
The 757-200 is one of the most overpowered aircraft in the sky. I've been on a Delta flight out of Ontario CA and the Santa Ana winds are so bad that they go further than that to get out of the wind. Helluva ride 😂😂
The F-35 is even more impressive when flying slow.
The A340 was in the air before the landing zone of the opposite runway so probably had around 900m minimum left of runway
The 757 is a rocket!
Nice set of clips
The usual ritual: sound off and enjoying the videos.
indicated 31kt wind gusts flip over the Cessna 182 while the 757 pilot says, "hold my beer".
75 doing its thing 👍🏾👍🏾💪🏾
Not sure if the 757 has stall protection but u can like see the AOA like go down
Like yeah
Most likely reaction from the pilot that got surprised at the climb rate of an empty 757, those things are rocket ships lol
Like like like
Pitch wobbles several times. Pilot may be screwing around with an empty plane, testing something, or fighting Boeing's half-assed safety systems.
I'm sure you could have moronically forced in at least one more 'like' if you'd really tried.
I love the A340's
The 757 is a freakin rocket, it wasn't steep enough!
Incredible, cannot sleep.
Idk why but the Cesna one made me laught so f hard AHAHAHAHAH
me flipping around on flight sim when taxing around 🥹
See DHL 757 freighters here at London Stansted with 20 tonnes of cargo climbing out that steep sometimes!
There is no too steep for a 757! 🚀
757 taking off "too steeply" - lol, thats cute.
What a machine .
Love from India broo ❤
Hey. So would the Cessna be repairable - or is it finished?
Take more than that to write off an airframe.
The 757 is NOT taking off "too steeply" at all. First off, define "too steeply." 15, 20 degrees pitch?? Not normal looking to you? Which one is "too steeply?" It is well within the capabilities of the airplane at that deck angle if it is lightly loaded or the thrust to weight ratio permits such a climb. If it was too steep he would have likely went into a departure stall/spin and crashed. Such a dumb comment to label this video with.
looks like pickings are getting sparse
When you can't wait to get the hell out out LAS
Too steep for what ??
Destination; Heaven! 😂 I understand there’s mountains but 😳🙄😆
The average take off on the 757 was between 17.5 degrees to 22.5 degrees as my neighbour who used to fly them told me
My name is Lucas and it’s been Lucass a couple of times. But I see what you did there lol
I'm sorry exactly how hot was it in that first clip?!
How was the 757 not stall?
Those New Pacific Airlines Pilots are fired
757 : awesome power to weight ratio
A340: exact opposite
Wow 😮
757 Lambo of the skies!
Uh oh
The 57 is out matched
Long live the 757.
❤❤❤
Did anybody see the birds say nope in the last clip
Well spotted.
The A340 had a lot of runway left....the cameral lens makes it misleading. Now if it were an Aerosoucre flight itn would be a different story
epic
For the mighty algorithm gods 🍻
Funny how all the people that comment about the clickbait that they are adding engagement and therefore encouraging the clickbait titles.
They have to whinge about something.
Hey
No such thing as a too-Steep take off for a 767 😎
You've got a unique voice, keep using it to make an impact!
I don't know about you, but seeing a heavy-loaded, A340, coming straight at you is a bit unsettling.
How do you know it’s hevily loaded?
@@inncogneato6341 Generally speaking, if you need to use nearly the entire runway to take off, you're probably loaded heavy. But it also depends on runway length.
That a340-300 only took off because the curvature of the earth
Its not A343 but A345 or 346...filmed front of runway, absolut @Lucass bad faith😂
Decent steep climb
A340->0crash
757->?
737->?
707->?😱
OK....
PS: i love Boeing, especially 727, 737NG 757 & 777
Peace!
F-15 leaking fuel looks scary. Fuel fumes near hot engine exhaust can ignite any second. I am surprised to see dudes walking casually around this.
My thought exactly...must not have been in a place where safety was taken very seriously
@@kevindigo22jet fuel is not very flammable. This is for safety reasons. So no, there are no issues here.
Jet A and JP8 aren’t nearly as volatile as fuels once were. I had a 220 flame out on startup, we weren’t expecting it, so the fuel dump surprised us and we didn’t have a bucket beneath the jet. My coworker asked if the JFS was clear, and I cleared it, really expecting what little fuel that was on the ground to be ignited by the fireball that they tend to blow out across the ground. JFS banged, and nothing happened, after engines were up I proceeded to clean the half pint or so of fuel on the ground.
All pilots here ehehe
You can see the automatic protection systems kicking in repeatedly to drop the nose as the 757 climbs steeply.
Not the case.
Lucaas, I thought we spoke about clickbait titles 🤦♂️ In what way was the take off too steep? Did the aircraft stall? Did they break a rule? It looks like a pretty regular take off to me
FUN FACT you can double tap a comment to like it
It worked
nice likebait
I actually never knew that😂. Thank you
Thanks for the info!
Hahaha…thanks for tech update.
Kindly support the effort of sky craft diaries
A346... absolutely not the entire runway, filming front of runway....
A345 and A346 absolutely not underpowered
757 is pretty well powered but never a plane with passengers take off like your first clip😂
Very steep doesn't mean too steep. Would you PLEASE stop with the clickbait?
CGI
Hi
757-200
Why did nobhead take up so steep?
Edit: at Las Vegas
b757 is fake
#1 climbing like OrenAir
Voted DOWN
Big Fan Bro ❤️❤️🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳
Fun fact: ur first until u reset the page
vdangerous moves. I guess the pilot who used the entire runway did not hear the "v one" warning. good posts.ert dangerous
Hmm clickbaity title, not a fan
Clickbait title.
IT’S NOT ‘TOO’ STEAP! ARE YOU A QUALIFIED PILOT?
First plss heart. LOVE UR CONTENT!!
deionburns is gonna yell at you 😢😢😢😢
Ur..😂 and wanting to be first on a UA-cam video. Your life must have no meaning or love
@@Hermanos22 ahh yes and u must be one of those ppl who haven’t experienced ‘love’ and live off others mistakes
@@technomicks thank you for at least admitting the mistake you are.. saying “first plsss heart”😂 like an 11 year old fangirl
Like this comment if u want B757 to bring back into service world wide.
❤❤my favourite aircraft.
You are on your own it seems.
1 view in 0.00000000001 nanoseconds, bro fell off
Another Bull shit clicky title 43000lbs x 2 engines + empty = 9000ft+/min climb in a 757, this is why the A321 can't complete in hot and high airports.
Hello. So, what I want to do with this message is to simply show what the Gospel is. I am not trying to force my belief down people's throats. It's your choice whether you want to accept it. Please read the whole text.
So, a question: Do you think you are a good person? If so, have you ever stolen anything, lied, looked lustfully, watched adult material? All of those are sins and anyone who sinned is not good(on God's standard). You, I and most( most because babies don't sin, and maybe specifically mentally Ill people) purely human beings have violated God's moral law. Since God is just, He can't let sin go just like that.
So is there any hope? Yes, there is. Out of love and mercy, God became a human being, Jesus Christ. Jesus lived a sinless life and finally died on the cross to bear the punishment we deserve, we deserve to be punished because we have sinned.
The reason why blood must be spilled for forgiveness of sins is because the life of the flesh is in the blood, in the Old Testament Jews sacrificed animals for sins but the sacrifice of animals were enough to temporarily cover some sins. (it did not allow forgiveness of sins, unlike Jesus's, it only temporarily covered them). Jesus is the Lamb of God, the ultimate sacrifice for sins which is enough for all sins that have been done, are done and will be done. Jesus was buried and rose again. His resurrection proved that His death was enough to pay our penalty, the penalty for our sins. Jesus paid our penalty and in order to accept the free gift of salvation from God, we must trust in Jesus's spilled Blood, His finished work on the Cross for our Salvation. And then your sins will be forgiven because of what Christ did, you will be saved. See: Romans 3:1 , Romans 3:23 , Romans 5:12 , Romans 6:23 , Romans 5:8-9, Romans 10:9-10 , Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV, John 3:16 KJV, Leviticus 17:11 , Ephesians 1:7 , Colossians 1:20, 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 .
I don't see how you can make that call. Are you a pilot? Were you an airplane? Do you know the Circumstances. Know what you're talking about before you post a video
