- 🙋♂️ Hi guys! I decided to make a tribute mix to the Super Eurobeat series. I've always wanted to do a chronological mix and a 100-song mix, so here I could do both!

How is there an evolution recognizable if it only covers songs from Super Eurobeat volumes (mostly from the 90's) and no present Japanese Eurobeat (which is the present state of Eurobeat in terms of dominance) at all?
It seems like Make up your mind signifies the start of the Hi-NRG eurobeat we all know and love
To me, I feel like "Hot Love and Emotion" already has all the elements of eurobeat, but I agree "Make Up Your Mind" is a huge step forward. I'm glad you enjoyed the mix! 😁
To me would be the works from Time Records from the late 1992

The most shocking, or perhaps depressing thing about this mix, is realizing just how many of the "recent" tracks came out between 2007 and 2013. It definitely puts into perspective just how much steam Eurobeat lost in that era, though you couldn't tell from the songs themselves.
I started listening to eurobeat in 2009 so I always got the feeling those are the "new tracks"... but they're 10+ years old now :(
There is some eurobeat recent eurobeat songs that get popular tho
Man eurobeat has changed a lot more than I thought. The oldest of the old sounds more disco-y, almost like italo disco, it’s pretty cool.
And yeah I know eurobeat extended from italo disco, I just didn’t think the two were that similar when eurobeat first came along.
Eurobeat producers from the 90s were italo disco producers in the 80s. While early eurobeat is very similar to italo disco (with higher BPM), imho what makes it special is the touch of each producer. They are very italo disco-ish, but you can already feel the vibe, sounds and energy of the most famous eurobeat producers.

Ah, Eurobeat. I was a teen back in the days of the ParaPara/Eurobeat craze in the west and it warms my heart seeing it’s resurgence in the 2020’s. In a way, the craze never really faded, only returned to a more “underground” status for a while, later to return in full force.
Each song that passes, it feels like it increases its bpm and consolidates the characteristic melody of SUPER EUROBEAT, IT'S AWESOME

I’m just now finding this on August 14. After so many years of Eurobeat, I’m so glad I found this! I knew so many of the songs here.
I like how the tracks go from as cool as a cucumber (not a bad thing) to so much fire that it would put a volcano to shame.
hahahahah it was nice doing the mix because the evolution is very noticeable especially the first years!

First listened to eurobeat since 2004 when the Initial D was hot in mainstream media (TV, etc)
Returned back in 2015 because Go2's Go Beat Crazy (Initial D 4th stage) was a memory for me, then i started digging on a rabbit hole. 😄
I was recommending eurobeat by listening special mixes like SEB200, SEB220 and SEB230.
But now this is the one I'll currently recommend to newbies who loved eurobeat due to Initial D, to appreciate the history and how eurobeat made very special.

While I didn’t start really looking up songs and buying CDs and making digital purchases until the pandemic, I was first exposed to Eurobeat back in 2000 when my parents gave me DDR Disney Mix on PlayStation for Christmas. 7 of the Disney songs are the Eurobeat versions (mainly Domino) plus Night of Fire survived the cut for the US version. Then several years later Golfland (aka Waterloo if you’re a Bill & Ted fan) had Para Para Paradise at some point, which I imported the Japanese PS2 version with the controller. Eurobeat is almost like an old friend that never runs out of NRG

I feel like most of the music I heard my entire life until now was Eurobeat. And I only started listening to Eurobeat regularly since 2020. I dunno, I think those n-hour Eurobeat mixes can tell you why. I guess I like Eurobeat more than those anime and generic pop songs.

I been listening to eurobeat for like a lot of times or most of the times. Sure I enjoyed other music or songs but until this came around I was highly addicted or just loving it so freaking much . I pretty much think that nothing could be better than eurobeat it just sounds very good I even have a t shirt that says I love super eurobeat

Yeah 1993 was the third "boom" of eurobeat, but from there on Sinclaire and Rodgers drove the evolution of the genre towards its maximum power!!!

What an absolutely spectacular set!!! When Master Blaster came on, my entire soul came alive. I get so nostalgic for some of that classic Eurobeat, and seeing it together with some of the other best through the ages was just perfection!

Unfortunately there is not a clean acapella for Forever Young. I used an acapella extractor AI. The result is never 100% clean and in this case the rest of the music made it workable :)

I encouterd eurobeat when mainstream drift memes was popular. Than I got into Initial D. Only in 2021 I got into eurobeat more seriosly (getting to know labels) becouse of exploring gyaru culture and japanese club habits in 2000s.
I hope one day to be able to do some para para in a club in Japan one day!

Yes Dave Rodgers did his early songs under the aliases "Aleph" (actually a group) or "The Big Brother". His remakes of Wild Reputation are under the alias "Dave Rodgers" but the original is under "The Big Brother" :)

TBH, Initial D picked every good song from Eurobeat fanbase. Just mad applause to guys from Japan, to pick best out of couple thousands songs.
Songs not covered in Initial D are just kinda below that level, not catchy, too much lyrics sometimes, "beat" is something else compared to Initial D releases.
Sometimes we are more biased towards the songs we already know. Initial D has an AWESOME selection but there are a lot of bangers not included in the series :P in my experience most eurobeat songs tend to "grow on me" the more I listen to them (this is me inviting you to enjoy all of eurobeat, inside and outside Initial D).
@@SuperNOVAEurobeatYeah, I can relate to growing to certain Initial D songs later as u grow and listen other eurobeat songs, but I have over 10h+ eurobeat songs on foobar, and still, handpicked Initial D songs are bar higher, than rest.
Maybe a little bit higher.
