It's a minecraft map for the game Counter-Strike: Source (So everything is built on Source Engine, the map has been made by a skilled mapper that is also my friend) and the mod for which the map has been built is Zombie Escape, a community made mod for CS:S as well :) So it's 3 in one!
I watched this back when I was 8 or 9 when I just scrolled through UA-cam on my shitty white box computer, (or tablet I don't remember) and I showed my sister and asked her if she knew what game it was. She said it looked like a game our older cousin played (Minecraft) and ever since that moments I've remembered this video, Its so casual, it's Minecraft with guns and it's not toxic. Makes me wish I was a 90's kid. Crazy to think I saw this before Minecraft was the big thing. So much Nostalgia. GET IN POSITION AND WAIT FOR MY GO! And, FIRE IN THE HOLE!!! Are the words you have to hear to get an orgasm no matter the situation.
I, frankly, have never played ze because it was scary... Zombie Escape in the true sence to me is especially superb because of the very funny scenes you often encounter. It's sooo funny sometimes that I can't even recall this being scary :p The humor in this gameplay is just so good that you can't call it scary ^^ but it's different for every person of course!
The real skills come when you know every aspect of the engine. By that I mean you know more than only what you see, like all the hitboxes, how the engine calculates, how physics onto it work, even how the code is being generated and such. This way, many players who know the entire Source SDK and hitboxes can really be a very difficult opponent, especially with an AWP for example
