My father was born and raised in this precious town. His widowed mother along with her six children migrated to the USA. My father and my mother drove us four children, five days of traveling, back every summer from Northern California to stay in touch with my father’s family heritage. Every summer we returned to improve my grandmother’s living conditions and the family ranch. I still remember how clean her kitchen was with a dirt floor and adobe oven. There were cobblestone streets and only one phone in the Pharmacy. So many fond memories of all the kind and happy people in that town. So many wonderful memories for us all! Thank you for sharing your travels. 🙏🏼

You brought back memories of the phone in the pharmacy I recall when ever we would arrive first we would go and visit the small church then go to the pharmacy and call back home, to let everyone know we had made if safely. Also the sound of thunder in the raining season, the fiestas during December. The town is small but with a lot of charm. To this day if you visit you still feel the authenticity. Thank you again
