My favourite place to take my daughter was Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens in Cape Town, South Africa. We lived close by and the magnificent Table Mountain formed a breathtaking backdrop throughout our city. My daughter loved exploring the beauty of the gardens, and I just loved the serenity.

This is so fun! I’ve lived in KC since I was a little kid, and I have so many other recommendations! Worlds of fun is the local amusement parks, and is really great for kids! There’s a huge section for kids, but some of the most thrilling roller coasters as well! Crown center and union station are down in the city and are so magical during Christmas!!! They also have ice skating and the most amazing train restraint called Fritz’s!

I was supposed to go the zoo this fall but haven't made it. Hopefully this spring. Did you see the baby orangutan? You only live about an hour from me. I am in St. Joseph area.
We are in the city (definitely not like downtown). Just a great neighborhood. If we drive 15 min one way we are in city if we drive 15 minutes a different way there is country all around. That’s what’s fun is we can experience both.
Thanks for sharing Julie can’t believe how baby girls gotten so big can I ask a question I was wondering if the boys have one around the neighborhood to rake leaves to earn money that’s what I used to do when I lived up north it’s a lot easier raking leaves and shoveling snow but thanks again for sharing
