I am from GA and my family I grow up with are there, I made a new home here in MO, where I had my kids now adults with one grandbaby and my mom moved out here and had a major stroke and requires a lot of care. Grew up in NY, and although I miss it like crazy, I would never move back. Suburban/rural life near my fam is my jam lol, but NY is always there to visit and that’s good enough for me. I do not miss the cost, that’s for sure.

I totally feel you. I moved a few hours away from home for an amazing job opportunity. After a year of my now husband not being able to find a job close to our new home (rural area) and being homesick, I decided it was time to move back. I absolutely loved my job but I was working constantly, missing out on holidays, birthdays, big events. Losing my dad reminded me that you can’t never get back lost time. So, we moved home & it was the best decision ever. I wish you guys much happiness, wherever that may be.

Ash, this is real talk. You need to stay in NYC. You hear it's lonely at the top? You aren't. You have Ryan to help you get through this. This is a setback. Your family is important but everything you're doing right now is bigger than all of it and that is the challenge you have to overcome. Just take more trips back home BUT work it off and stay in NYC til you get what you came for.
I feel you Ash. I just recently move back home in France from LA to get close to my family and raise my kid in a much more low key environment. There are tough moments where you will miss the business, the pace, the people, the energy, but getting to enjoy life with family is basically LIFE.

Have been struggling with moving to Texas as well. My parents are in new braunfels and that area is amazing and such a great place to have a family and work my business, but like you said gotta get things in order first. But I love Texas!

I cried with you😢 I live in A suburb of Toronto, for the last 10 years but I am a born and raised Texan. Lived most of my life there. My family is there also. I miss it so much it aches but we will be moving back when my Husband retires in a few years. So I definitely feel for you :(

I love the life with my hubby but I am such a family person that I feel sad when I’m not with them for any holidays/special occasions or even just the good ol shopping with mom 🙁😢 do what makes you happy ❤️❤️

Go for it! Go back to Texas. I told someone about you and Ryan the other day and said if you bought a home, it would be in Texas. Go back home. A close friend left NYC to go home to Florida and she doesn't regret it at all.
She loves visiting the city but is glad she no longer lives here.
I totally feel you. I moved a few hours away from home for an amazing job opportunity. After a year of my now husband not being able to find a job close to our new home (rural area) and being homesick, I decided it was time to move back. I absolutely loved my job but I was working constantly, missing out on holidays, birthdays, big events. Losing my dad reminded me that you can’t never get back lost time. So, we moved home & it was the best decision ever. I wish you guys much happiness, wherever that may be.

As an Texan/Austinite, I highly suggest moving to Austin! There is so much happening in the city and it just keeps getting better. Y’all could live in a beautiful and large place downtown for probably half of the price you’re paying on rent.

Ash, this is real talk. You need to stay in NYC. You hear it's lonely at the top? You aren't. You have Ryan to help you get through this. This is a setback. Your family is important but everything you're doing right now is bigger than all of it and that is the challenge you have to overcome. Just take more trips back home BUT work it off and stay in NYC til you get what you came for.
I feel you Ash. I just recently move back home in France from LA to get close to my family and raise my kid in a much more low key environment. There are tough moments where you will miss the business, the pace, the people, the energy, but getting to enjoy life with family is basically LIFE.
i just found out that we have the same brand jam and I am in China. i guess the world is small . but this do make me feel somewhat connected to this channel like it's not some imaginary fantasies but real living people back there. Support you, Ashley. it's the worst thing to have in life knowing there's something happened to your family and you can do nothing but listen and try to accept the news.
