Can you please do a wardrobe basics video...recommending only the best brands for wardrobe staples like the best brands for a white shirt, t-shirts, knits, silks etc. Thank you
I have a few brands lined up that produce some of the best wardrobe essentials mixed in with other brands offering a variety of styles within the quiet luxury space.
Bravo 🎉❤ Been waiting for THIS one 🙏 To be honest I never truly understood the real craftsmanship until I started researching mens brands such as Santoni , Edward Green and John Lobb , and WOW ! It's such a different world ! At the top clients send them back to be re-soled or reconditioned and they come back like new , and last 30 years , so despite the initial outlay , overtime they not only pay for themselves , but also become more comfortable ! ❤❤
Great video. I have always wondered why men’s shoes have more longevity than women’s shoes. My husband travels to Germany several times a year and orders bespoke shoes while he’s there. I’ve never thought to do so as I wasn’t aware there were options for women. l’m on the hunt now thanks to you! ❤
Dear Anesu, this is really very useful, thank you! Information on womens' quality shoes is so hard to find (and I mean high quality, as opposed to popularity/fame). Is there any chance you could give some advice on top quality womens' boots? There is practically nothing on this topic out there. Thanks and keep up the good work!
Wonderful video! Some of the brands I own and some I’m checking into. How about a short lesson on storing and maintaining the beautiful shoes. Many a beautiful shoe has been ruined by poor storage.
Another great video and I have learned so much from you on luxury things :). What brands would you recommend for regular to wider width feet. I certainly do not have narrow feet. Thank you for your time!
Thank you. Best stores for women’s large footwear sizes UK 7.5 to 11 | Magnus & Crispin’s Shoes | Anesu Sagonda ua-cam.com/video/4ixolPq4i7Y/v-deo.html
I’m not a fan of Le Silla tried a few styles in Milan - I think you may have mentioned the sock style? I tried them on and didn’t think they offered enough support and I wasn’t convinced they were worth the prices they were charging 🙈
We don't wear shoes at home either. It's a very Danish thing despite there being a lot of hard wood floors (not that I like the idea of stilettos on wooden floors). I do have flat shoes I keep for social occasions at home/ friends' houses. Would love some proper slippers that are also stylish!
@sholabishop207 I’m not a big fan I feel like they are the Italian Christian Louboutin a lot of hype. You can get a lot of their styles for a better price, quality and comfort elsewhere.
Another great video! Thank you for the recommendations. I love Ralph Lauren Collection shoes. I was eyeing the Armissa pump, which is slightly shorter than the Celia. Any thoughts on the Armissa pump in comparison to the Celia?
Have you heard of a shoe brand called “A di Gaeta?” I’ve grown so found of the brand’s ethos. I also like Tamara Mellon, Jennifer Chamandi, Sarah Flint, Balleri Sorrento, Mislita, Miuxa, La Portegna, Micuir to mention a few. Spain seems to be where the hidden gem manufacturers of leather goods are. It’s the same case with quality handbags being sourced from Ubrique, Spain.
I always thought mens shoes from brands like Jones the Bootmaker , Tod's and Russell and Bromley were the best UNTIL I was fortunate to buy a pair of Goodyear welted Crockett and Jones HANDGRADE ,..and OH MY LORD ! What a difference !!! Now my dream is a pair of the finest calfskin loafers or boots from Gaziano and Girling ! 🙏❤️❤️❤️
Crockett and Jones was a real eye opener offering first hand experience - can’t beat that! I’m glad. That makes two of us with regards to Gaziano and Girling if I was a man or wore male shoes that would be my brand of choice!
Anesu, have you tried Jimmy choo’s love or romy pumps? What do you think of them? Are Ralph Lauren suede pumps just as great in quality as their leather pumps? In terms of craftsmanship and leather quality what suede pumps would you recommend between these mentioned brands : Manolo Blahnik, Gianvitto Rossi, Aquazzura, Prada and Ralph Lauren? Thank you again.
I’ve tried the Romy pumps and the quality wasn’t great they fell apart very quickly. I have only experienced Manolo Blahnik suede, which is good, but I wouldn’t hesitate to consider the others, if I can’t across anything I liked, they are all solid brands.
In mens shoes the choices and styles are more defined , it has more about quality and price point . I am as excited by the modern sleeker lines of Italian brands such as Santoni , as I am by the heritage and Northampton craftsmanship of Brands such as Edward Green 💚
Another difference is that women typically do not invest in time, products, or a cobbler’s services to maintain their shoes. Even the life of a cemented sore can be extended with proper care. A cobbler can install rubber half soles on cemented shoes. You would wear through the rubber half soles, not the leather soles of the shoes. The rubber half soles could be removed with a heat gun and reapplied. A cobbler could also replace the heel cap and touch up the edge dressing, etc. These services could extend the life of your shoes. Saphir makes superior quality polishes, cleaners, etc. Valentino Garemi makes excellent quality brushes for polishing and cleaning leather, and for brushing shades and unbuckle.
@@SoAnesu I think women often focus more on trendiness in shoes, frequently buying styles that change with the seasons rather than investing in long-lasting, durable footwear. Unlike boys, who are sometimes taught to polish and care for their shoes from a young age, girls are not typically taught the same emphasis on shoe maintenance. As a result, I think many women do not expect their shoes to last for years and are more likely to toss them when they wear out rather than repair them, contributing to a cycle of replacing rather than maintaining. I began collecting vintage Ferragamo’s about six years ago, and first learned about restoring them while watching shoe polishing and repair videos created for male audiences.
@@SoAnesu Also… I wonder if many people just didn’t grow up seeing their parents go to tailors and cobblers and simply didn’t learn that’s an option. When I was a teenager my mother became interested in sewing and made the sweetest a-line dresses for me. After years of being frustrated by not finding the exact garments I want (it seems like not much in stores flatters a 5”3’ woman with long legs, a shirt torso, and a large bust) I finally remembered I could just have them made for me. A local seamstress is far less than expensive than a bespoke house.

It sure is a different world and an amazing one when you get to that level!

You are welcome thank you. I know there is very little information out there whether it’s boots or shoes I hope that changes…
Wonderful video! Some of the brands I own and some I’m checking into. How about a short lesson on storing and maintaining the beautiful shoes. Many a beautiful shoe has been ruined by poor storage.
Great idea!
Thank you !
Very helpful video as usual !
I'm a tall woman , i hope found my happiness with on of these brands 😄
I hope so 😊
Beautiful shoes. Love the flat options that Lanvin offers.
That makes two of us!

I love Gianvito Rossi! I really like Le Silla, too. Amazing designs and I haven’t had issues with quality so far.
I’m not a fan of Le Silla tried a few styles in Milan - I think you may have mentioned the sock style? I tried them on and didn’t think they offered enough support and I wasn’t convinced they were worth the prices they were charging 🙈
Once again…amazing video with such informative researched content.
Thank you!
Quality video as usual, I love it!
I have a question, Do you wear your shoes at home? If so how do you keep the soles clean?
Thank you!
No shoes in the house! Only time I’ve worn shoes in the house was to take the short videos for this video. Never again.

Good idea with regards to flat shoes for special occasions at home!
Thanks for the information. Never heard of quite a few.
I like to keep you on your toes Shola!
What is your view on Giuseppe Zanotti?

@@SoAnesu noted with thanks.
Another amazing video! So many brands to explore 😊 I am a huge Marsell fan and can’t wait to hear your thoughts!
Can’t wait to explore Marsèll. Happy new year Kristen!
Another great video! Thank you for the recommendations. I love Ralph Lauren Collection shoes. I was eyeing the Armissa pump, which is slightly shorter than the Celia. Any thoughts on the Armissa pump in comparison to the Celia?
Thank you! I think it’s a keeper shorter version of the Celia. You can’t do any better than the Armissa pump!

Ubrique is where the magic happens! It's a brand i have heard of in passing Looks interesting.

Wonderful video. Where does ferragamo stand amongst these brands?
Thank you! It sits comfortably with these brands. Ferragamo shoes are fantastic!

Agreed why do you think women typically don’t make the effort to maintain their shoes?
My goodness, I didn’t notice spell check’s sneaky “corrections”! 😶
sore = sole
shade = suede
unbuckle = nubuck
