The truth about the departure of Michaela DePrince

Inspired by a magazine cover of a ballerina she found outside the orphanage gates and kept while in Sierra Leone, DePrince trained as a ballet dancer in the U.S., performing at the Youth America Grand Prix among other competitions. She trained in classical ballet at The Rock School for Dance Education in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Concurrent with intense ballet training, she took online classes through Keystone National High School, where she earned her high school diploma.

I thought her and her sister were biologically related, I didn't realize that they were both adopted separately. Not that it matters. A young, determined, child raised in a serious war, STILL, became a vibrant, joyous young woman, doing what she loved. Hope you are dancing amongst the real stars now.

I don't know but I do think it's plausible. I would also explain why the family asks for donations to War Child instead of flowers, as her trauma resulted mainly from her childhood in Sierra Leone.

Why are they keeping the cause of death so mysterious? "Undisclosed heart condition" means nothing. Past trauma? How could that be? She was in top athletic shape, healthy & vivacious.
