Thank god for the current writers. I never want Ezra to adopt Imogen's baby.
Best decision they could’ve made. Imogen would never let a creep like Ezra adopt her baby. The storyline should never had been written in the first place, and I think (hope) that the writers didn’t watch the original very closely and thus not realising how creepy that storyline was.
Sooooo Dr. Sullivan just did not tell Imogen that she KNOWS ARIA AND EZRA
Great decision!! It would’ve been a hypocritical stance for the show to take. Since they’ve had discussions about SA and predatory relationships already. I’m glad Ezria was sort of called out for what it really was.
this was a great opportunity to bring awareness to just how inappropriate that relationship was
I just feel bad for Aria’s character…..I remember fantasizing so much on their relationship as a kid when the first season came out not knowing anything about predators and grow up and realizing that it’s so messed up to see what Marlene king was on at the time.
Aria deserved way better than ending up on a illusion that Ezra was good for her after all the red flags she saw in him.
It’s giving the victim of a narcissist choosing to stay with him cause she thinks he’s the only one good for her.
I really hope one day we will have a spin off about Aria that will give her character justice.

Even fans of the OG show find aria and ezra being end game a bit weird considering everything we know. I think it’s a fair excuse for the new show to exploit.
In the show, Ezra was twenty-something year old teacher that had a relationship with a student.
It’s well deserved. Ezra was creepy as hell and it’s right that the show called him out for it since the original never did. I’m pretty sure that whoever wrote that storyline for Original Sin didn’t realize how creepy their relationship was. Imogen as a sexual assault survivor would never let a creep like Ezra adopt her baby.

You seem to forget that Ezra was in his mid 20’s dating a 15 yr old student. Wouldn’t it be fair for the show to discuss about how messed up it was?
Well everyone on that show was at least a big creepy in different ways Marline King says see feels disrespected, "the Ezra i whote was not Creepy" they got a lot of backlash from activist fans for that plot line.
Very disappointed
She gave up the baby, move on with this story line its so wack
