I created an account sometime ago using the Amazon shopping app and Google authenticator,after sometime I deleted both applications. I've been trying to login again after redownloading them but they keep requesting for otp sent to the authenticator app but am not getting it. How do I link it for the second time?

I have just done mine with the Google authenticator ignoring the phone number verification. But my question here is should lost their phone the phone got spoilt, when they got another phone and they downloaded another Google authenticator. Will they be able to get those information saved on the previous Google authenticator app? Pls someone enlighten me on this thank you.

Did you uninstalled it and download it again? Because once you have the same app it will automatically generate OTP whenever you want it.

i had to shut my account down due the otp not working i tried sending my otp code to my account it didnt work i ended up calling amazon it toke 4 different people but we couldnt get it back so i just ended up shutting down my old account and made a new account with a different email that works i put the phone # on my new acccount
